i am definitely going to keep my GTX780, but I was thinking about replacing most of what is in my old reliable antec 300 with more modern hardware and a XFX Double D R9 290. so i want to have a system where i change IHV drivers at will.
my biggest complaint with the GTX 780 is not much do with the GPU die and it certainly has a marvelous cooler and a PCB that has worked well; it is that nvidia's driver team only supports a handful of apps while breaking image quality (or at least not adjusting drivers according to app engine changes) and breaking/taking away options as well as never restoring and never adding new options anymore.
so does AMD work more on fixes as they find them or do they only look at the latest titles? i was thinking the latter, but i wanted some perspectives from many people
thanks in advance
