In fact, on my Dell... theres no thermal paste at all... just the aluminum heat sink and direct contact to my P4 2.66 enclosed into a little cooling chamber.

theres to suppose to be a thermal pad or soemthing
 
My tube got here today, I'm surprised at how much denser it seems than AS3, but I don't get to try it out until my $335 X2 processor also gets here.

If you don't suck at using it, it should be good for AT LEAST 10-15 applications, depending on the CPU type (some CPUs have a bigger area to cover)

Agreed. This should be good for at least 25 applications, depending on core size and how proficient you are at applying it.
