Golden Age is just another name for crappy graphics. I'm glad I grew up in the 8 and 16bit era of gaming. We invented the d-pad.

I got in on the early arcade action in the mid to late 70's and very early 80's. But since I graduated college in 1980 I was already on to other things by the mid 80's when arcades reached there peak. But good times none the less

Some of my favs, Missle command, asteroids, Galictica (or something like that)

Blech. Is there anything there that both costs less than a full dollar to play AND isn't perpetually "out of order"?

i have to finish my mame cabinet... i paid good money for that defender cabinet to let it go to waste.

Yeah, I have one that's half done. But the half that's done makes it playable which pretty much means I'll never finish the other half.

No that's a little more advanced than the one I was thinking of. The one I played didn't have the "real" rasslers like Hulkster or Jake the Snake or any of those other guys. It had made up names based on the likenesses of the WWF guys. It was really ghetto but I liked it.

Mat Mania? One of my favorite all time arcade games. The arcade semi close to me had it on their Starcade multi game system. Sorta like legal MAME cabinet. I put in a quarter and played for about 40 minutes. The small kid I took went thru 10 dollars in quarters and I was still on my 1st

That shit was freaking epic. Loved arcades in the day. Kids don't even have places to hang out now. They like.. what... go to coffee places and show off how hipster their iStuff is?
