Yes - according to Reuters, google, yahoo, and the US President.

No ? according to sniperruff and a few Kerry supporters who think Ohio might still come through, and that Arafat will come back to life because the health care system in France is socialized.

i wonder how many people he killed or ordered killed?

Probably a dead heat between he and Ariel Sharon.

i guess there are two sides to every story

Don't get me wrong...I'll shed no tears at Arafat's passing but Sharon is just as much a hinderance to any sort of lasting peace policy in that area. :)

It's way to good for him. He should die painfully screaming. I'm just thinking of all the innocent women and children whom he gleefully had blown apart by nail-riddled bomb blasts.

Not yet, look up 2 posts above yours.

He's just resting.

He's stunned!

Stunned?

Yeah! You stunned 'im just as he was wakin' up!
Finally, even CNN is saying he's joined the choir invisible:

"The two U.S. officials say that since Muslim custom requires burial within 24 hours of death, no one will declare Arafat dead until they figure out where to bury him. They said Arafat will not be taken off life support or declared officially deceased by his family until the negotiations are complete, and they hope to have those talks wrapped up within 24 to 48 hours."

Now we're left waiting to see what new problems this will bring about in an already volatile region.

Arafat is a nut, and so is Sharon.
I bet he allows Arafat to be burried somewhere, then bull dozes it for a road or a wall - just to be an asshole.
