I love snacking on these. On average I'll have 2 apples and 2 bananas per day.

In comparison, the rest of my diet is generally very low in sugar.

I know that apples have some great health benefits but the sugar content concerns me a bit. Any thoughts?

Ever heard of "5 a day?" Well you're only getting 4, so have one more.

It's natural sugars too, not processed added in sugars.

I have one banana/day and 1-3 apples/day. I can lose as much weight as I want since I Build them into my overall calorie count. Sugar is fine, just as fat and whatever else is fine as long as you're not overdoing it.

Actually, "5 a day" nowadays refers to 5 fruits and veggies altogether per day. That usually entails 2 fruits, 3 veggies, however I say screw the food pyramid. You'll be fine with the apples and bananas since they are relatively low calorie and full of good nutrition. If you're working out, then you're even better. I usually eat an apple before I lift and a banana afterwards just to make sure I can burn it all. You'll be fine though, OP. Toss some veggies in there though :)

Bananas depending on their 'state' is very different. If it is very ripe the sugar content is more then if it more green. I don't eat that many bananas as they are high in sugar but I eat about 3-5apples per day along with other fruit. I'll have a banana during training but rarely at any other time.

Thats a personal choice but overall they are fine but not for me when not during training.

Natural sugars, that you'll find in fruit, are fine for you. It's High Fructose Corn Syrup bullshit sugar in pop and such that you need to avoid. I don't mean just for calories, but for general health.
