iPad Pro looks great with the keyboard cover and pencil. Just afraid of what the price tag might be.

I mean, it basically competes with a surface pro, imo. $900-1200. Not sure I see the point of continuing the Macbook Air with this thing.

I am very curious to see how the Pencil compares to Wacom's offering. I love my Intuos, but it'd be cool to have a portable unit (Wacom has portable units, but eh).

I'm hoping Apple is aiming this to be between the Surface 3 and Surface 3 Pro. So maybe a price starting at $700.

Holy crap, $100 for a pencil!??
$800 for the 32GB isn't too surprising, but that's too little storage for something like this (much like 64GB is way too little for a Surface Pro). So really $900 price tag. Ugh.

Edit: I mean $950.

32GB base model is a joke for a "Pro" device. Well, guess it is expected from Apple...

Okay so:
Pro: $800 - $1080
Pencil: $100
Keyboard cover: $170

$1070 - $1350

The difference is that Surface Pro runs full windows, which will easily grow to be 30GB. iOS has a far smaller footprint that does not grow over time due to updates like windows. But I agree it should be 64GB.

Apple likes to create markets because they know people will by them. Just like when the first iPad came out, everybody went "WTF?!" and yet they have sold tens of millions of them.
