This is all part of the plan to kill high end Android phones.

Before I get too snarky over Apple's missteps, I'm reel it back because I know Google -not to be outdone- will likely manage to toss their own flaming monkey wrench into some aspect of Android. Sooner or later.

They're quite capable of screwing up Android phones without any outside help.

The Bloomberg article that is linked suggests that the team that does the testing for patches doesn't get access to the newest iPhone until the time that customers get it. Ah, Apple's secrecy, biting itself in the ass yet again.

Shit like this happens. MS was bricking blu ray drives with that Xbox one update, and that's a software company.

iOS 7 did not play well with iPad Air when it was released. They had a serious issue with Safari crashing. Took a few updates to get that straight.
7.1 was a fantastic update.

I dunno. TBH I never had major issues with 7. I never liked the color scheme although the flat design is acceptable.

As with 8 I never had issues too. I felt like the bottom pull up drawer looked fugly with the new high contrast colors, but then again I haven't updated to 8.0.1

Ok if Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon can do a commercial for the iPhone6 before it's release then their QA team sure as hell should be able to access them. There's a pile of BS being shoveled there.

It still stands true.
iOS 8: Crashing brand new phones
iOS 7: Fantastic update
iOS 6: Two words: Apple Maps
iOS 5: Nothing really eventful here
iOS 4: Broke my 3G

... apple's reputation is going downhill.

my 5c has slight lag issues!

feels like android on a very low budget phone.

*_*

My post wasn't a dig at Apple so much as it was a dig at Apple fanatics.

Yeah, because it finally turned the iPad Air from a piece of junk to usable. I have no idea how they could have released it like that, or what all the reviewers were smoking to have not seen it.

It was a huge mess, I took it to the "geniuses" 3 times (swapped out to a new one once) before just giving up and waiting.

We intentionally didn't install 8.0.1 on my wife's iPhone 6 - just did 8.0.2 and everything seems fine. Cellular connectivity is fine.

Dropped my phone tonight. Camera lens shattered. Ill cry tomorrow to yu guys, drunk now. bye 🙁

No case I assume? First time I held an iPhone 6, I knew 100% we were getting a case for my wife's phone. Even the 4.7" is a touch slippery and I knew over time it's going to hit the ground.

Waiting for my case in come in. Shit really is slippery. I was thinking the other day how many times it's slipped when I'm sober. It landed flat backed on the ground. Only the camera glass broke. I just cleared out the shards and the camera works just fine. There's the downside for having such a thin phone with a protruding camera. I'll live. You really can't tell unless I point it out to someone.
