I just bought a nice glass jug of apple cider, all natural, etc, etc, the only ingredients at the back are freshly pressed apples. I always thought apple juice had a lot of vitamin C, I guess I was wrong. I looked at the back and it has 0 %.

You bought some fail apple juice then, because the stuff that I buy has 100% DV of Vitamin C per serving.

Vitamin C is heat sensitive. It doesn't survive pasteurization, which is necessary for any on the shelf product.
If you juiced an apple, it would contain some vitamin C.
Fun fact: Oranges don't actually contain very much vitamin C. Chalk 1 up to marketing..
