Relax, you probably won't be able to go until the fiber kicks in. Liquids help too.

If it does come to surgery, it's the anesthetic that makes you sick. I had my wisdom teeth out (impacted) and was sicker than sick even on an empty stomach. It's just one of the side effects. Not everyone gets it though. It's best not to eat before surgery, but starving yourself when you don't even know if you need it won't help either.

Man, stop messing with him/her. LOL.

Look, it sounds like you are clogged up, go and eat some bran or look for something high in dietary fibre. Make sure to drink a lot, and avoid cheese.

UPDATE: i had one of my family doctor come see me and tell me whats happening. it seems that it was low fiber and because of that my stomach contracted slower causing the pains in my stomach. so my problem should go away in the next few days after balancing my diet again :D

Glad to hear you're just constipated, but as a public service announcement:

Cheap diagnosis for appendicitis:

Stand on stool that's @ least 1 foot tall, jump from stool to floor.

If you think you're going to die from the pain from your right side after you've landed, it's appendicitis.

You'll probably have rebound tenderness, press on right side, below rib cage (press deeply) & release, if it really hurts, you have "rebound tenderness" & it's a strong sign of appendicitis.

It's ok. :)

Here's a link on appendicitis to help you.

remember, you might just have some sort of tummy bug or even a muscle strain. it's best to get it cheked out though, as a ruptured appendix is considered a medical emergency, and is life threatening.
Had a cousin in the hospital recently for 4 days...6 nice-sized gallstones removed..

Zap0602 ..see a doctor

Just found out this morning that I have gallstones from a trip to the hospital. Going to see a specialist soon about it.

So after all those posts, you did exactly what most of us suggested and sought medical attention. Good job. Better safe than sorry.

exact same happened to me about the same time in the morning was 6 at the time

I'm glad it's nothing serious. :)

You'll feel better once your diet gets straight.

I had it about 2 years ago, and i didn't even know at the time....my mom thought it was just gas at first, and so i went several days without doing anything about it except taking stomach medicine. Luckily, we did decide to go see a doctor in time, because as it turns out, my appendix HAD burst inside of me. I had to have surgery and all that good stuff, but i was also in the hospital for another week or so while they had to clean out my insides....ironically, i didnt realize how serious all that was until much later. I'd say make sure this isn't nothing serious, see a doctor if you have to. Money can't bring you back.
