appendicitis?

wat are symptoms of appendicitis? my stomach has aching from time to time since nov 29 and i'm sorta scared

In general cases, the symptoms can be, but are not limited to: Mild flu-like symptoms. Pain in the right-lower abdomen that is exacerbated by pressure.

i dont want my parents spending money to see a doctor again. my sister broke her arm about 6 weeks ago and we had to pay for that

You don't want to mess with appendicitis. If you are concerned, see a physician. Even if there were doctors posting here, they couldn't diagnose you over the internet.

i dont want my parents spending money to see a doctor again. my sister broke her arm about 6 weeks ago and we had to pay for that

if its appendicitis..imagine a balloon blowing up filled with seriously nasty toxins..inside you..then it ..ruptures..spewing forth said toxic materials thruout your body and extremely fast..picture your people peering down on you in the coffin..it does happen verrry fast when it blows..

Yup. Could be lots of things.... Gas, Cancer, Gall-bladder, kidney stones, etc....

Nothing can be set in stone without a GI CT scan and/or ultrasound.

I just went through this with my wife. The pain ended up going away and all the tests proved inconclusive.

I had it when I was like 8. I couldn't fully straighten up without pain, it sucked royally. The first day of going to the doctor, my white blood cell count was off. I went back the next day and it wasn't any better. I went to see a specialist at 6pm and by 8pm I was on the operating table getting my appendix out.

It's nothing to mess with and if it explodes, you will be in serious trouble.

Sorry about that, but you realize that if you do require an apendectomy and your apendix bursts, you'll likely die or get very, very sick? Think of how much that will cost.

That's where appendicitis can get tricky. The pain is known to migrate to those areas. You need to get checked out.

change your diet(more fiber) and see a doctor..mine charges $150 for general exams (w/out insurance..I always check w/ and w/out pricing..) w/ a few tests thrown in..did I say..see a doctor

Your first step is to see a doctor. See what's going on. If you went in tonight and it was appendicitis, and they did the surgery, you'd probably be in the hospital at least through tomorrow, maybe a day or so longer. +/-.

Remember, you might just have some sort of tummy bug or even a muscle strain. It's best to get it cheked out though, as a ruptured appendix is considered a medical emergency, and is life threatening.

Had a cousin in the hospital recently for 4 days...6 nice-sized gallstones removed..
