The overall summary: CBS, MTV, and the NFL's reputations are now tarnished by a slut named Janet Jackson, and her wigger accomplice Timberflake. It was inappropriate and highly distasteful to show a bare T!T on TV, you will not even see this on MTV (and if you have, it's most likely NOT a common occurence because my little cousins watch it all the time). It's against the FCC's regulations to have a PG rated show turned R, I don't give a flying fvck what you Europeans have to say, if you think that it's right, then GET THE HELL OUT OUR COUNTRY. We have rules here that are to be followed.

Many of my coworkers said that luckily their kids did not see this fvcking trash that is to be called the halftime show. I agree with them. We don't have sluts in the mall walking around with their T!T out, do we? How about in the gym? Better yet, another public place, the park?

These fvcking artists are always trying to push the envelope, and guess what, they went too far this time. What's on next year's agenda? Britney showing her crotch? Would you geeks be ok with this? Of course you would, cuz you haven't had p*ssy in, let's say, your whole life. Now I finally see where you're coming from!

Last but not least, any woman who did this in the states that I've lived in (NJ, NY, VA, MD, DE, and yes even WV) would be arrested for indecent exposure and corruption of a minor (if a male had ripped it off in front of kids). That's what makes this country so great, is our first amendment rights. But that's also why we have LAWS.

Kudos to all the parents who know how to raise their kids the right way, and understand that kids should be able to enjoy their childhood before growing up. To all the non parents who think this was an acceptable act: One day, you will reach a level of maturity and empathsize. That is all, back to your regular scheduled immature geekspeak where omg, b00bs are sooooooo cool!!!!!! Yeah dude!!!!!!

gotta love Canada. we have boobs on our CBC all the time. :) The best was during the Rolling Stones' big show in toronto. CBC had more frontal nudity than a playboy centrefold.

How would you feel if your daughter came home from high school crying, and said she was assaulted (inappropriately touched) on her breasts? The boy would say, I saw Justin do it so why is it wrong? Your ignorance and advocation breeds the perpetuation of an overly sexual society, and we are passive about it until IT HITS HOME.

Why don't you go somewhere where nudity is ok. You know, traditionally, that's how it works. Why not leave those of us who don't want to see that sort of thing on public TV during a show rated PG alone.

For the umpteeth freaking time. It isn't so much about seeing a titty. It's about a station having some discretion in what they show when it's inappropriate.

You won't hear me piss and moan about seeing a nipple slip during the Victoria's Secret fasion show. You know what you are getting into ahead time. Likewise, I don't throw a stink when I go to an R rated movie and her the fbomb used frequently.

It was irresponsible of MTV to encourage this during a prime time event.

Overly sexual society? Are you kidding? The USA is quite tame compared to the rest of the world when it comes to public sexuality. It's you people that freak out about incidents like this that are the problem. By going nuts you give kids the impression that nudity and sex are bad. It wouldn't be a big deal otherwise.

Well yes CBS should have shown discretion and they were wrong, but I've never argued that it was ok for them to do that. What I take issue with is CBS solely taking the blame. The Super Bowl has aired sexually suggestive, misogynistic commercials for years. It has also shown tons of bikini and cheerleader shots. Now, that doesn't make CBS's or MTV's behavior ok, but parents had fair warning that the Super Bowl was not all Barney and Elmo. It's fairly obvious that a halftime show of rappers, shock rock artists, and the like is going to have some extreme things. They show the mouth of the coaches throughout the whole game as well, and the same with players. You can clearly make out profane words. Anyway kids are smart, but they are not that smart. It was barely a 2 second affair, and was quickly cut away. I doubt kids decided to engage in anal sex because of it, but slippery slope advocates believe their kids are out raping chickens. It's a self-protective thing. 10 years now when their kids have sex they will blame CBS. I love America.

Wow, you need to get a clue. Obviously you don't have one, even close to one, or any possibility of getting one in the near future.

I can make up a situation to prove any opinion I want. Here is your cookie for being a classic american armchair/monday quaterback.
rolleye.gif

First off, anyone who uses the line "if you don't like it, get out of our country" should be shot. If you don't like someone living the way they live, why don't YOU get the f out?
Second, many laws actually have laws that allow women to be in public with their breasts exposed. NY is one of them. So, you are talking out of your ass. I can't even begin to address the shite you spewed all over.

Why don't you go somewhere where nudity is ok. You know, traditionally, that's how it works. Why not leave those of us who don't want to see that sort of thing on public TV during a show rated PG alone.

I have been. and its interesting that the countrys that have nudity on TV dont have as many social issues as the US does. Realated? maybe a little.

Well traditionally full male nudity has been a bit more intense than the female chest, but I wouldn't of had a problem. I have a question for you in return. How can you say this isn't about just a titty? Incredibly sexually explicit thoughts are posted here daily, as well as pictures that are much more sexual in nature than just a titty. Admit it, Americans are just afraid of the nude flesh. You can't honestly tell me that Janet Jackson's tit is more sexually provocative than the Alizee(or whoever the hell) thread which is a few away from this one. The mods locked all the JJ ones, but the Alizee one isn't that big of a deal. Babes thread are disallowed, but we can post images of chicks wearing NOTHING as long as there is no nudity. Americans are scared of flesh. It's silly, puritanical, and shows our archaic nature.

It's because of those goddamn black people and their rap music!

Joke or not, that's pretty offensive.

Your stupidity is way more offensive that my obviously sarcastic comment aimed at our good ole boy racist, SP33Demon. Now run along and let the adults talk.

Again, you are missing the point of this discussion. I have nothing against you going to a strip bar and watching naked girls dance all night. I have nothing against you watching a nude halftime show that was advertised as such (although that would probably end my interest in football). I DO have a problem of them showing nudity on the superbowl without informing anyone that it would be there. They took away my choice to watch what I want and not to watch what I don't.

They took away your remote?

gotta love Canada. we have boobs on our CBC all the time. :) The best was during the Rolling Stones' big show in toronto. CBC had more frontal nudity than a playboy centrefold.

its funny how we in america think that nudity is bad. god i hate the puritans and victorians.

What constitutes a social issue? and how many does the US have compared to wherever you live?

Overly sexual society? Are you kidding? The USA is quite tame compared to the rest of the world when it comes to public sexuality. It's you people that freak out about incidents like this that are the problem. By going nuts you give kids the impression that nudity and sex are bad. It wouldn't be a big deal otherwise.

Maybe you're half my age, and have the education of a silverback gorilla? Let me repeat the sentence. DING DING DING you have just won the daily special, I'll even translate it for you!

Your ignorance and advocation breeds the perpetuation of an overly sexual society, and we are passive until IT HITS HOME.

By using the cognitive powers of a chimpanzee, and thereby accepting the fact that a T!T was shown on TV in front of your daughters; you are hatching (i.e. breeding) the continuation of despicable nudist colonies/countries such as France. You are oblivious to the ramifications of your inaction until the problem becomes so large it manifests in the incident of your daughter getting touched inappropriately and stressing the fvck out of you; thereby wanting to kill the fvcking kid who is, unbeknownest to you, a Timberflake fan who LOVED the halftime special of Super Bowl XXXVIII. You would consequently become cognizant of what a chimp you were in 2004 (go to www.dictionary.com for the definition of "disillusioned").

What did you think an MTV produced half-time show with Rap Artists would show? The 700 club with a brief intro to Ultra-Orthodox Judaism?

I live in Colorado. I did live in Germany for 4 years and the only sex crimes i took part in investigating were committed by Americans. It is a known fact that countries where nudity is more accepted there are less sexual related crimes.
