The report found no evidence for collusion. Nothing Trump did stopped the special counsel from performing the investigation. You guys have nothing.

The report tells us of Americans - namely Manafort discussing swing state data with the Russians.

Apology for what? There was an arrogance to the OP, but the Mueller report doesn’t conclusively support any one narrative.

Mueller’s appointment was to discover collusion with Russia, but the scope of the investigation exposed a lot of other criminal behavior, things Trump actively sought to obstruct for obvious reasons given the criminality behind his empire and campaign.

So while there was no collusion, the investigation exposed plenty of other things that justify impeachment and/or prosecution in the relevant jurisdictions.

The report has a pretty easy narrative to follow and it's basically in line with the reporting. Ezra Klein summarizes it well:

Is this the new Trump line? Trying to obstruct justice and failing is not obstruction of justice?

Hint: it is.

This passage is simply insanely damning. All by itself it merits impeachment.

Our investigation found multiple acts by the President that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations. The incidents were often carried out through one-on-one meetings in which the President sought to use his official power outside of usual channels. These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General’s recusal; to the attempted use of official power to limit the scope of the investigation; to direct and indirect contacts with witnesses with the potential to influence their testimony. Viewing the acts collectively can help to illuminate their significance. For example, the President’s direction to McGahn to have the Special Counsel removed was followed almost immediately by his direction to Lewandowski to tell the Attorney General to limit the scope of the Russia investigation to prospective election-interference only-a temporal connection that suggests that both acts were taken with a related purpose with respect to the investigation.

The President’s efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests. Comey did not end the investigation of Flynn, which ultimately resulted in Flynn’s prosecution and conviction for lying to the FBI. McGahn did not tell the Acting Attorney General that the Special Counsel must be removed, but was instead prepared to resign over the President’s order. Lewandowski and Dearborn did not deliver the President’s message to Sessions that he should confine the Russia investigation to future election meddling only. And McGahn refused to recede from his recollections about events surrounding the President’s direction to have the Special Counsel removed, despite the President’s multiple demands that he do so. Consistent with that pattern, the evidence we obtained would not support potential obstruction charges against the President’s aides and associates beyond those already filed.

Wrong.
It found plenty of evidence of collusion. Just not enough to convict a sitting president.
In terms of Uranium-1, this is 10.000 times worse.

I don’t think that is an entirely accurate summary at all. Russia sought to disrupt our election, Trump welcomed it as advantageous to his campaign, and Trump subsequently sought to obstruct a far reaching investigation that exposed extensive criminality across his entire inner circle.

Not to simply disrupt but to influence the outcome in favor of Trump. From a Russian perspective victory was achieved.

You cant possible have your head so thoroughly burried in the sand .. homo sapiens neck aint that long after all.
If you have consumed anything else but Fox News for the past couple of years you cant honestly believe what you write there.
And I mean if we are not being honest, most importantly to ourselves, then what are we doing here?

What I wrote echoes an article I just read on CNN that breaks down the findings of the report, in particular the reasons why Mueller chose not to pursue charges of obstruction, mainly three points:

1. Firing of Comey was within Trump’s powers

2. Without underlying evidence of collusion, it is impossible to make a case for obstruction

3. Since Trump did everything in the open, he’s the most incompetent obstructor in history

3. Since Trump did everything in the open, he’s the most incompetent obstructor in history

Trump doesn't need to hide anything when he has millions of supporters who will defend him literally no matter what he does.

I mean, c'mon, half of his supporters are 'free speech warriors' who believe that 'leftist' speech should be outlawed, and the other half believe that any check or balance on his administration is part of a conspiracy to overthrow it.

Peoples heads are going to explode when T gets reelected.

So much spin.

What did I say that was spin? Is this the only political message board that you visit, or do you just never read comments from your fellow Trump supporters?

Not a supporter pal. The spin comment was not directed at you. I think both parties are a bunch of pinkocommienaziwannabe eurotrashpanderingwarmongeringwheedlinglyingwhiningsorelosers .

It's time to find common ground and fix what we can without all of the over the top insanity the parties and press feed us every day. No matter how much I disagree with someone I seem to be able to find things we do agree on.

Once again you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Whether or not there is an underlying crime is immaterial to whether or not someone is guilty of obstruction. Whether or not someone is successful in obstructing justice is immaterial to whether or not they obstructed justice.

If you read something that echoes what you wrote then I'd suggest you find some new sources as you are clearly living in a bubble.

Only one party has devolved into over the top insanity. If you can’t admit this you’re part of the problem.

When Trump fired Comey & said it was about the Russia thing that was obstruction of justice.

#2 is bullshit. Trump's motivation for obstruction are immaterial & the instances of him attempting to do so are numerous.

A great deal of what you claim happened out in the open was only revealed by leaks at the time.

Yeah I'll never understand that line. If I hire a hitman but he fails I'm going to jail.

The green new deal, reparations and "free" medical for all. Your party is insane. Read the damn news. I don't support either party. I'm not even sure what the republicans are doing right now but whatever it is I'm not hearing about anything new really.

I see you and your ilk as the problem, Like Pelosi said a few days ago. Put a D in front of a glass of water and democrats will vote for it. Republicans are the same.
