APC BK350 back up UPS $14.99 delivered after $30 MIR

I've been looking for a good deal on a UPS, but the only place that I could find the $15 off $50 coupon said it expired on 8/31. If you have a source on one that's still working give us a hint where to find it. I'm still tempted at $30 though... Anybody else know any UPS deals?
 
Yes, fatwall3t was one of the first places I looked, but it doesn't have the $15 off $50 coupon that the poster talked about, the only place I found that one was at Dea!ios and theirs was expired as of 8/31... I'm wondering if this post is a mistake and this $15 off coupon doesn't exist, or if it does, then where?
 
yah I was wondering what the difference was also. Why does this one sell for 100 while the other ones sell for like 40?

I wonder if the $59.99 price is new? Last week it was $69.99 when I pricematched it with Office Depot.. 🙁
 
omg, am I nub or what? I can find anywhere on the office depot checkout page to enter in my 15 off 50 code 🙁 lol, guess it's time to call tech support.

I think the coupon is not valid for tech purchases.

I was not able to find the 15 off 50 but did find a new 10 off 50, but the item is now showing back order on office depots website.

I bought one of these from OD about 2 months ago. While it'll power an older Pentium Server AND Monitor, it would show and sound the built in overload protection with the new AMD server (no monitor), even with the server's power off (overload alarm). It's worked great for the Pentium. They also will work w/o being connected to a computer. So they are good surge protection for entertainment components, like TV's, stereo's, etc.

Thanks for your patience, I found the code... I was only looking on Fatwall3t's 'office depot' page instead of searching in their forum looking for office depot stuff... put the code into that funky page, added the UPS to my cart and viola! AR it'll be ~$18... not a bad deal... I'll plug my cable box and TiVo into it... no more missed recordings!!!
 
Of course it is sold out in Missouri and the coupon codes must be used on the internet! And my store wont give me a break 🙁

I was going to order one of these until I saw this...if I got one, it would be powering a 1.4GHz Athlon system with a 400W Sparkle Power supply and a 17" Samsung 753DF monitor. If what AWEstun said is correct, then I wouldn't really be able to do this...can anyone give me any recommendations on whether or not I should get this UPS? I just don't want to make this purchase if it's not going to work for me. I checked ePinions and there was nothing written on this model of UPS. Yep...gimme recommendations, please 🙂

I look for a battery back up to power my Monitor & CPU for 1-10 sec. during small outages. If power goes off permanantly then I turn everything off. Can this power a decent computer for at least 20 sec?
