AP Test Scores thread (for those who waited for it to come thru mail :)

Just got it in the mail today, probably like the rest of you did, since I was too lazy, cheap, and apathetic to call them.

I guess I'll start it off (since I am up here at the top of the thread)....

got a 5 in Comp SCI AB 🙂

Me either... 🙁

I don't remember getting anything in the mail about my scores, either...

I just remember finding out at school from my teachers.

CSA - 5...I actually think I got somewhere in the high 90's, and you only needed like a 75 to get a 5...yawn...I wish my teacher had let me take the AB test.

Check this:
I NEVER was in AP English for a single day last year, and my regular teacher was a bad ass coach. I went to go ask the AP teacher for help (get packets and such), but she refused. She said it would "take too long" and BS like that. She went on to say that I'd probably get a 1, and how she had students "who would love to buy that test off of you". Man, what a bastard.
Well, I didn't study jack, went in to see the first form of any kind of AP English exam I've ever seen, and did what I gotta do.

English AP: 3
That means college credit for the state university I want to go to (Texas A&M).

I also took the US History AP with the same amount of enthusiasm (but I took the class).
US History AP: 3

Damn, I shouldn't have been such a jack ass when taking that test. My dumb cocky self thought I'd get a 5 since I made easy A's in the class, but the essays really screwed me over.

<sigh> I look back fondly on days of yore when I took AP classes (all 10 of 'em). Wait, they made my life a living hell! I don't miss it at all! Buahhahahaa.

Congrats to all you guys and gals for doing well though.

Bored, posting old scores 🙂

AP English: 4
AP Biology: 5
AP Government, US: 5
AP Government, Comparative: 5
AP U.S. History: 4 or 5, can't remember
AP European History (the horror!): 3
AP Calculus BC: 3 (weak. I remember the very last section; we hadn't even been taught the material. Not a good thing 🙂
They should have offered us AP Japanese, dangit!

This was 4 years ago.

All this resulted in something around 30 credits at the University of Virginia. None of it matters, since I transferred into the Engineering School here, which apparently doesn't value the humanities.

However, note that AP credit is a VERY good thing to have. You'll be laughing all the way through your first year, as your friends are forced to take the intro classes of doom. Can you say impersonal teaching?🙂

Good luck to you guys who are entering college this fall.

Already posted it in another thread, but just to fuel my ego again 🙂

AP Comp Sci A 5
AP US History 5

Man, I must be a retard around here
Physics B: 3
US History: 3
Chemistry : 2
Calc AB: 3
English: 3

Too bad our school didn't offer Comp Sci, it seems like it was pretty easy from what I've seen around here.

physics C mechanics: 4
phsyics C e&m: 4
calc bc: 5
macroeconomics: 4

the grade for being a nef, priceless.

AP comp sci, AP mechanics. Where did all these classes come from?
I remember, AP Bio, Chem, Physics, Calc AB and AP history, and a few languages.

The separation between "geek" and "cool" must be very defined now. 😉

Back in 1994 I got:

Calc AB 5
Physics 5
US History 4
Government 3...I just remeber a lot of questions about voting trends in Bible belt...I was like, "WTF does have to do with our system of government?!" I thought I bombed that one for sure.

They should really change the name of AP Computer Science to AP Programming or something like that because it is not really computer science, just mostly programming that it is testing.

Ok, since we're all posting old scores as well:

1998:
European History - 4
Biology - 5

1999:
Chemistry - 5
US History - 3

2000:
English Literature - 4
Calculus AB - 4
Government - 5
Physic C Mechanics - 3

I got a 5 in AP Overthrowing Small South American Banana Republics at the School of the Americas. They said I was a natural born Generalisimo.
