Seems like something that should be proposed with a bad economy and high unemployment. Not when times are good.

Is depopulation of rural communities a major issue?
It is to the people who live in them...

Or, we could have allocated some $20 Trillion for it instead of writing that out as a blank check to about 23 billionaires, just as the GOP did last year.

Proof of blank checks.

I have asked you severeal times for proof showing the new tax law benefited the rich more than everyone else. As of yet you have provided nothing to back up your statements.

At the end of the resolution they should have tagged on "and Mexico will pay for it." to get everyone on board. Apparently that's all it takes to get the other side to agree to the craziest of ideas.

Lends credence to my suspicion that conservatives are so incredibly horny for AOC that they might accidentally embrace socialism.

I would gladly embrace parts of socialism, such as healthcare for all, livable minimum wage, price controls on housing, and free higher education.

I will not embrace socialism when certain rights are taken away, and people are rounded up and sent to camps.

As Lenin said, "The goal of socialism is communism"

If we could somehow combine socialism and captailism, and ensure individual rights, we could have nice things. Then again, FDR sent Japanese- Americans to camps and the Surpreme Court upheld it. We have to do more to ensure stuff like that never happens again.

She is very attractive though. The most attractive person in politics that I can think of.

Plus, its got to be a thing that she is the enemy. Kinda like how people like to get cuked by BBC. She is the naughty forbidden fruit.

He might think that we’re supporting 70-90% income tax on incomes above $10mil just for shits and giggles, or “pwning the rich”.

In the Vox article it pretty much sums up that the funding approach is TBD.

I think there are some good things in the plan but I think it is trying to address to many things at once i.e. reduce emissions to guaranteed jobs. I think the guaranteed jobs is kind of interesting...especially if it is replacement for free government handouts. Maybe it could end up being a wash from a tax perspective? However that would be really unpopular to a lot of people, to force them to work for welfare.

Is balancing the budget on the list? It seem like everything on it will inevitably create more deficit spending.

Nah. The order of the day is spend spend spend, don’t worry about paying for it. Responses will be "but the republicans cut taxes they don’t care either" and I definitely agree. Where does that leave us though? Both parties want to spend us into oblivion. Free college! Free healthcare! Free everything! And don’t forget the military, we need to maintain spending as if we’re current in WW2 or ng. And we need to maintain a nationwide hospital system just for vets instead of the prudent thing and giving them insurance because "regular docs just wouldn’t understand".

Pay for it? Lol don’t worry about it, the kids will get it.

Democrats: We'd like to raise taxes on corporations and the wealthy to pay for things.

Republicans: That's Venezuela style socialism and immoral/un-American. How dare you.

Media: *brows furrowed* But how will Democrats pay for their new radical socialism?

Democrats: We just fucking told you.

Fiscal conservatives: even given raising taxes you still don’t have enough, and when growth doesn’t reach your models we really don’t have enough. A bloated government erodes democracy and puts us in a very precarious situation. The answer is simple, spend less.

Yes because when it's about a Republican that makes it highbrow humor, amirite?

pt1sk.jpg

Find one comparing GWB to a sex doll, better yet find one comparing Palin to a sex doll.
That image is particularly low.

Politicians should expect humor, they should expect low blows, the previous image shouldn’t be illegal it’s just a really childish image particularly when directed at a Woman.

I don’t know fiscal conservatives who said that. The few of us that there truly are think it was an irresponsible thing to do, and that spending cuts must be priority number one.

What do you mean "won't have enough"? The models actually show that the savings in implementing this system (base on how they actually do work in the real world), generate savings. So....they literally pay for themselves, and then some.

But then the GOP is the party that claims tax cuts generate revenue...somehow....despite 40+ consecutive years of never actually doing that. Ever.

I had people tell me that IRL who identify as fiscal conservatives. Real ones approach the rarity of unicorns in my experience.
