Natives seem to think it was a coup as well

It's hilarious - all this stuff on Venezuela and now Bolivia are seriously the equivalent of nutjobs right? You're right there in the same boat as anti-vaxxers, 9-11 was an inside job, Area 51, etc...

I feel like I need to start a busines selling tinfoil hats - because it's definitely not a right vs. left thing.

How is this not a personal attack?

Can't say it is - at least didn't intend for it to be.

So far all I've seen posted as far as "facts" are random Twitter tweets from random people. This is the equivalency of a conspiracy theory at this point... which is exactly what I said. If anything it makes me question if these are the types of posts that should be proven with facts instead of random assertions with social media posts.

At no point did I personally attack anyone on this forum.

do we really need 'facts' when all you do is shout 'fake news' anyways?

It clearly was intended to be a personal attack because all that poster did was post a link and make a statement of fact, and you went off on yet another of your nonsensical rants filled with namecalling and blatant lies.

And let's be clear here about something. According to you and the rest of your alt-right ilk, a perfectly legal Congressional inquiry into the President's unethical behavior is a "coup." The President and his supporters use that word repeatedly to describe the impeachment process, and you have never once objected to that. But yet here you are triggered that AOC used that word to describe what does in fact meet every definition of the word coup.

Read that thread and about a dozen articles on the Bolivian election. I still can't make up my mind if there was electoral fraud there or not. Morales was well ahead in pre-election polling. However, the OAS issued a detailed report saying there was manipulation of computer data and numerous other irregularities. Not sure about OAS - read its history and they seem to be currently non=partisan - but don't know if there is a bias at work there or not. My best guess is that there was some fraud but Morales would have won without it. But even that I'm not entirely certain of.

In case anyone hadn't noticed, whether we call this a "coup" or not is semantics. The critical issue is whether there was electoral fraud because the actions of the military can only be evaluated in light of that.

Exactly. Tried reading up a bit more on this but haven't found anything conclusive.

I really hope this was not perpetrated by any foreigners/Bolivians as a way to get a business-beholden person in power to okay the extraction of the lithium reserves.

...? Just because Bolivia was under the socialism party means everything was a coup. Yeah sorry, but folks need mental help if you stand by people at this peak level of stupidity....

And you came to this peak level of insight how exactly?
You claimed Elizabeth Warren is stupid as well so your evaluations of people’s intelligence don’t have a lot of credibility.
3 female politicians as it so happens. Odd that.

I think the standard for personal attacks has been lowered to and include veiled personal attacks....
