I think his post was a genuine reaction and not trollololling. If you do find a more reasonable alternative it may be in your interest to get some second opinions before you spring for one. Some of those are nice and unique, and some are indeed downright gaudy.

except outside ATOT they are considered one of the most beautiful ring collections in the world.
 
I've never been a fan of jewelry on men, why not get a fine tailored suit and a few shirts and nice ties?

The best way to show off your body is fine tailoring, not jewelry.

As for an answer to your question, pawn shops would be the best bet for decent prices on jewelry, they buy those rings cheap when people need cash flow. Only problem is you cannot dictate stock.
 
More affordable enameled rings? Try using google images to search for enameled rings.

(only semi-seriously) For what it's worth, when I did a Google image search, the nicest looking rings I found when searching for enamel band ring, were all Wellendorff rings.

Ironically, when I searched for "Wellendorff fake", the number of pictures of people seemed to outnumber the number of pictures of jewelry.

The thing that makes a Wellendorff ring special is that every ring is completely unique. The lines, patterns, or other accents will be different giving you a truly one-of-a-kind piece. As a result, the price represents a significant investment but is still attainable by most well-heeled business owners or professionals making at least six-figures per year.

Those Wellendorf rings are really nice. Insanely expensive... but really nice.

For things that have practical use, I don't mind spending more on something that last longer, works better, or tastes better. But we all have our limits, right?

I guess if I made 10x what I do now I'd have little problem spending 10x more on a ring. I mean... you'd really only need to own one or two if they were really nice rings.

Also at a six figures and I am not a 1%'r, two rings would be about my annual income at the level in that line up I'd want.

even the entry level rings at $13k a piece would approach 25% of my income.
 
If I'm not mistaken, while I was searching, there were some that were only about $5k. Perhaps it varies by jeweler that's selling them?
 
I've literally never heard of Wellendorff rings. My family had a good chunk of money for awhile.

It is some type of upper echelon stuff. Like you said, seven figures. The only people who will even recognize it and be impressed by it probably bring in seven figures. But you would never actually fit in with them. So its dumb.

Get a rolex or something.
