If this is one of them... there hasn't been really much of any firing back at our troops for a while. It looks more like there are just a few Iraqi's hiding in the buildings.

It is so morbid that the US government & the media is showing these killing on TV like/as entertainment.

Those bodies were living human being moments earlier and now are just carcass to keep people entertained between mundane commercials.

I don?t know what our world is going to be in the future, but showing people killing each others & dead bodies on TV is just sick.

Please have a heart & give the dead some dignity.

It's not that it's a glorification of war or death or that it's cool - its just something we normally don't see on TV. The FCC and networks in general shelter the public from morbid stuff such as the death of soldiers and such. It's just interesting when one can finally see it on TV.

For better. Why should we be sugar coated on wars, deaths, and accidents. They're a part of life. I've seen my fair share of violence and deaths, and it doesn't bother me to watch this. It bothers me more to play games like GTA and Vice City.

And you disparaging us for watchign something you have absolutely no clue about is better? I haven't seen anybody shot on TV. All we've heard are artillery and firearms, and seen rolling tanks and smoke (and some fire). It's human nature to be interest in such rare events. It's no difference than picking up a newspaper and reading this in the morning. This is historical, there has never been live video feed of actual combat in war.

There was a thread here a couple of days ago where everyone was saying that politicians telling lies was a fact of life and wasn't so bad. Of course then they were referring to Bush...

Besides, no government during a time of war ever gives anything except propaganda. In the history of newspapers, radio , and tv, according to governments, no nation has ever lost a battle. Do you really expect him to start talking about how imminent destruction is?
