Does it work ok? Any USB Xbox 360 controller should work on PC, right? I'll probably get a cheap Chinese knockoff on eBay.

Is there any rumble effect with PC games?

I'm using the wireless one that came with my 360. Works fine with the receiver I bought off Dealextreme.

Are there any PC games that are able to give the rumble effect with these controllers?

Many games these days are ports originally developed for the 360. One of the few advantages of that is that the controller works completely including the mappings and the rumble (though I prefer to turn it off personally).

Just bought a wired 360 controller yesterday for my PC. Didn't used it but after reading and searching it looks like it's the best controller for the PC.

At first I wanted to buy the Razer Onza but they seem to be of discutable quality...

Don't forget to find the driver for it on the MS site.

I use my wireless ones on my PC. Love it especially for the L4D series and Just Cause 2. And yes the rumble works. Probably will pick up Serious Sam BFE when it comes out on the PC and have some multi controller action on the 55". The wireless dongle (and wired controllers) support up to four unique controllers on one pc just like the xbox as long as the game supports it.

Have you actually used the Razer Onza? Going off web comments and posts for Razer products probably isnt going to give you accurate feedback. I think there is a movement against Razer by the uber nerd community. They will talk about how horrible a Razer product is then say how much better a piece of junk is from another company.

I just got my 2nd Razer product last night, Black Widow Ultimate mechanical keyboard, and its the best keyboard Ive ever used, or seen for that matter. I do want to swap it out for the stealth version though because the keys are too loud for me.

I think when it comes to Razer, you have to try the thing out yourself. And if there is any credence to the Razer hate you can protect yourself by buying their products from Bestbuy. Bestbuy will return your money on PC stuff for up to 30days.

When I bought my mouse I tested a ton of mice and didnt like any of them, and I had had my eye on the Razer Lachesis but didnt want to spend that kind of money on a mouse, but after testing about half the mice out there I was like screw it Ill try $80 Razer mouse and sure enough the Razer mouse won by a long shot.

I use a wireless one with a cheap knock off wireless receiver I bought off playasia. It works great when I use it, but I don't use it that often cause it's a pain to get games running on my tv instead of my monitor, which is the reason I would want to use a controller in the first place.

Well I use the Razer DeathAdder 3500dpi, the Razer Arctosa Silver keyboard and the Razer Orca headphones...so I don't have anything against Razer products.

But about the Onza, it seems like they have some troubles with the stick sensibility adjustments after some time.

Anyways, the 360 controller is great.

My PC xbox controller pisses me off because the right analog stick doesn't register in 90% of the games I try and use it on.

I have a wireless 360 controller. I occasionally use my PC w/my 60" Sharp HDTV and the controller. That's how I played Fallout/New Vegas and I plan to play Skyrim that way.

FYI: You can pick up the wireless USB receiver for ~$11 on the net, then just add a wireless 360 gamepad.

It seems to work fine for everyone but myself--but that is entirely my fault.

Only way to play games for me :) Even FPS games. I just like to chill with a controller in my hands. Speedy PC + a big screen + Xbox controller = win.

Razer stuff is awesome, I have the orca headset and will likely get myself a mamba soon. All our customers are satisfied with them. Except the Onza. We have had a ton of returns on them. So many that we stopped selling them completely. Issues ranging from buttons not working out of the box to calibration problems to failure after a few months.

So I would recommend any razer product, except the Onza.

The 360 controller is my preferred choice. I have a wired controller (don't have a 360 and got a good deal on the wired controller from Amazon). Works wonderfully, and pretty much any game that comes out now with controller support will natively support the 360 controller. If a game is third person, I almost always use the 360 controller.
