I'm pretty much all of you have seen this infomercial since it's on like every channel, but anyone tried it yet?
I just saw it advertised in Sunday's Target paper so I feel tempted to try it out. Just wondering how natural the motion of turning your arms 90 degrees while doing a pushup would be.

Lol, what a waste of money. The big advantage of a pushup is that you don't have to use any equipment, just your body and a floor. Why buy equipment for a pushup?

Is this the commercial that says "you'll be ripped in no time"? Man, I always get a kick out of that one.

While certainly not worth $40, it is a nice thing. Rotation is nice, but I just love the feeling of not killing my wrists while doing pushups. Find them from someone who is unloading them for half or less and they are decent enough.

You could also use a set of hex dumbbells if you really want to do pushups.

Indeed you can. I leave the perfect pushup in my car and use it when I travel and am away from the gym.

i can guarantee you the guy who is using it in the advertisement video has never used the perfect pushup before or after he shot that video to get in the shape he is in.

I think the same can be said for anyone of those fitness models in those Exercise Equipment infomercials.

I've been using one for a month and I have results exactly that the model has.

Seriously though gimmicky equipment, is just that a gimmick. If pushups hurt your wrists you don't have the right positioning, and you could also try making fists.

Wow, thanks! I'm glad you can make that diagnosis without seeing my form or knowing my medical history.

Just do fist/knuckle pushups. Make a fist in each hand and put most of the pressure on your first 2 knuckles while in the pushup position.

I bought this for my dad as a gift for xmas. Since he's gone on vacation, i've been using it at home alot. My natural motion isnt exactly 90 degrees, but it does rotate naturally when doing pushups on it. It's a different feeling and i like it. Definitely not worth $40, but if you got money, just get it. Of course if you got money, why not invest in a set of hex dumbbells and/or a pullup bar.

I always thought that it would have it's merits...but then I just wanted to find some cheap handles and small lazy-susans and make my own. now...where do I buy small turntable-thingies...
