anyone seen Tom Cruise's "Vanilla Sky"?

I enjoyed the Spanish version a lot, to see the similarities and how the American team took a few liberties. It was a pretty good movie and helps to watch it more than once.

Diaz is the same age as my current GF, a little over 4 years younger than me. Cruz is a little over 6 years younger. 30/35 is not a whole hell of a big difference when you're an adult.

The thing about it is one of my friends is telling me that the ENTIRE movie was a dream; when he wakes up at the end to Cruz telling him to open his eyes, he's actually waking up from a dream...I don't know about that, but it also seems plausible. I, however, would rather stick with the "lucid dream" explanation, because I think it's cooler.

i really enojyed that movie. try watching the dvd director's commentary...it's really insightful. i think it's the best one i've seen (haven't seen many though).

bad movie. evil. stay away, don't try to understand it. you have a better shot of figuring out Mission Impossible than this. The other movie was Obre los ojos, i haven't seen it, but watched the director's special on it that was on the dvd. actually, it wasn't that hard to understand afterwards, just weird as it was all unfolding. the special helps to in some ways.

Dude, come on, you have to love the ending if only because you wish it were real. A few of my friends hated it because it is fvcked up; I loved it because I wish it could be true...

I felt sick watching that movie. It was mind-boggling in its stupidity and lack of any action. The plot was ridiculous, and I really wish I never went to see it. The constant "personality change" also bothered me. Sorry, no more Tom Cruise for me

Tech supports explains everything in the end. What part got you confused?

I liked this movie a lot. I also saw the original, Abre los Ojos, and thought the remake was a little bit better. Great soundtrack.

I saw Abre los Ojos too (have it on DVD, in fact). I thought the original was better (but I can watch it in Spanish).
