Anyone See The Italian Job?

I just saw a screening tonight (there was a sneak preview last Saturday) and I must say that is a very good movie, it reminds me of Ocean's 11 with all the surprises. Charlize Theron looks so good in that movie 😀

Yes she does

just came back from the movie, I must say, it's better than what I expected... 🙂

edit: I must say, Charliez Theron (sp?) looked pretty hot in there...

I went to a sneak preview of it last week. I thought it was pretty poor. Charlize Theron was nice though 😀

hmm, i dunno. he can play an evil guy pretty good. have you seen american history x? probably the role in the movie required him to be a mellow evil guy.

I disagree, Norton is an AWESOME actor. I thin khe can pull off the evil guy pretty well.

i thought the movie was only so-so.

too generic and predictable. the plot wasn't very exciting to me.

mark wahlberg is an average actor, at best, IMO. he's only got one face: that intense look. seth green was funny, but that Napster thing was mentioned so many times it got kind of stupid.

ocean's 11 was clever and did a good job with character development. this was a poor man's ocean's 11.

got dragged to it last night (very reluctant) but left pleasntly surprised. Sure, you watch the trailer and you know the entire movie, but it's just a fun movie.

i thought it was reasonably clever for what it was. superior to oceans 11 which just bored me. charlize theron doesn't hurt either 🙂

Yes.. ye.. yes... than' thanQyu.

(he did well opposite Robert DeNiro, I thought)

I'm usually dissapointed by movies but wasn't dissapointed by "The Italian Job". The whole "napster" thing and his mockery of "Handsome Rob" were hilarious. The car scenes were done really well, better than anything i've seen this year. Overall I really liked this movie... I almost never go see a movie twice but I might go see it again... it's definitely on my list to purchase when it comes out on DVD.

Caper flicks RULE.

I'm so happy - There's been an EXPLOSION of them in recent years. Dunno what happened, but I'm happy.

I mean, look at it:

The Score
The Heist
The Italian Job
Ocean's 11
Confidence

That's 5 in 2 years.....before 2002, how many caper flicks can you think of?

Why is it called the Italien Job? There's no Italy, there's no job, it should be called "the".
Norton was amazing as the bad guy when it came to the end of Primal Fear, an in the odd moments through it as well. He's a great actor, as Fight Club attests to.

It's called the Italian job because the first job TAKES PLACE IN ITALY.

Or were the gondolas not enough of a clue?
