Anyone notice the lack of scandals under Obama?

I was just cruising some news and just saw this developing story. Premature to call this a scandal, but apparently the issue is being investigated.

Bigelow, of "The Hurt Locker" fame, is scheduled to release an infomercial, err documentary movie, about the Bin Laden raid in October 2012, about a month before the elections, lol.

Osama bin Laden film leak claims investigated
Isn't that just scandalous? 🙄 It doesn't touch the hatchet job the GOP did on Kerry, the "swiftboating."

Did I not explicitly state it was premature to call this a scandal? However, if it turns out Obama leaked classified information to a Hollywood producer for a movie about the Bin Laden raid, that comes out a month before the elections, it could turn into one. If that happens, do you think that is acceptable for a President to do? To leak classified information for political gain?

I don't get what this has to do with the swiftboat debacle, can't each issue stand on its own? Both sides try to downplay a scandal, by pointing to one of the previous party's administration. Just looks like transparent deflection to me.

Like I said in another post, any scandals that history lays on Obama does not minimize any of the Bush administration, and vice a versa. They stand on their own merits.

Craig234 logic: Craig, who cares about scandals from the White House when children are starving in the world? You're preoccupied with insignificant things, you should spend your time posting about starving babies instead. That is far more serious.

Nope, he's about as corrupt as bush in my book. Promised change and delivered the same old song and dance we've unfortunately come to expect from our leaders.

If it doesnt involve boobs, weeines or a bullet ridden body found in a park, it's not a scandal. Call it "business as usual" washington style. You should know that by now.
So much for that pointless list...

Ruby Ridge and Waco come to mind with Clinton. What was his tremendously ugly Attorney Generals name?
The hundreds of millions spent by the Obama family as they party around the globe with their dog and the President golfs his way to good health. Solyndra and Fast N Furious, his recent Constitutional crisis with recess appointments, his opaque and cover-up prone administration. None of this will of course matter to blind partisans. Their guys never do anything really wrong, they're just misunderstood.

That would be Janet Reno.

Good intentions gone wrong.

Not really, except in the sense someone who starts a nuclear war because they think it's a good idea is 'good intentions'.

Ya, these people were out for their ideological agenda and not for personal profit, as far as I know, but the behavior was grossly criminal and unconstitutional.

When you are having to knowingly violate the law to back an army of terrorism and lie to Congress about what you're doing using your power under the President, there's a problem.

That's the Nixon White House mentality, 'if the President order it, that makes it legal', with people like G. Gordon Liddy offering to shoot a critical journalist on the street.

Obama’s Big Book of Firsts

Home - by BigFurHat - January 5, 2012 - 22:00 America/New_York - 29 Comments
From Doug Ross
Yes, he’s historic, alright.
• First President to Preside Over a Cut to the Credit Rating of the United States Government
• First President to Violate the War Powers Act
• First President to Orchestrate the Sale of Murder Weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels
• First President to issue an unlawful “recess-appointment” while the U.S. Senate remained in session (against the advice of his own Justice Department).
• First President to be Held in Contempt of Court for Illegally Obstructing Oil Drilling in the Gulf of Mexico
• First President to Defy a Federal Judge’s Court Order to Cease Implementing the ‘Health Care Reform’ Law
• First President to halt deportations of illegal aliens and grant them work permits, a form of stealth amnesty roughly equivalent to “The DREAM Act”, which could not pass Congress
• First President to Require All Americans to Purchase a Product From a Third Party
• First President to Spend a Trillion Dollars on ‘Shovel-Ready’ Jobs — and Later Admit There Was No Such Thing as Shovel-Ready Jobs
• First President to sue states for requiring valid IDs to vote, even though the same administration requires valid IDs to travel by air
• First President to Abrogate Bankruptcy Law to Turn Over Control of Companies to His Union Supporters
• First President to Bypass Congress and Implement the DREAM Act Through Executive Fiat
• First President to Threaten Insurance Companies After They Publicly Spoke out on How Obamacare Helped Cause their Rate Increases

And Boomerang's post is a good example of propaganda on behalf of those who want to take your money. Hold on to your wallet!

The lack of scandals is probably due to all his followers who have their heads so far up his ass they cannot see.

You pricks forgot the BIGGEST scandal of them all!!! He sent a Navy team INTO the country of our Ally and KILLED one of it's citizens!!

I honestly can't believe this fucking shit. How some of you ignore how Obama did NOT work with our Ally, went behind their back and MURDERED someone who was living in peace and seclusion!! He was a very religious man.

Obama ordered the execution of a religious man.

YOU may very well be a religious person. Obama is out to kill religious people!!! No matter where they are in the world!!

You may be next!! How can you all be so blind and forgiving over Obama murdering a religious man?!?!

More like he apparently hasn't done much that needs to be hidden.

It's not like the so-called "Liberal Media" hasn't tried to conjure up scandal out of thin air... and failed miserably. Well, other than in the minds of True Believers, who don't need any facts. Witness Birtherism.

More like massive attempt to redefine "scandal", along with grasping at straws in an attempt to create human figures with them...

Boomerang's list is priceless... in a truly desperate sort of way.

Awesome how when it's your messiah then people are "redefining scandal", and "grasping at straws". Political apologist will go to great lengths to pretend their guy didn't do anything wrong.

What exactly is this "classified" information? Perhaps it's relatively inconsequential information that was at one time classified, such as before the raid. I remain highly unconvinced that this is more than a minor weather disturbance in a teapot.
