Anyone move to Europe from the States ever?

S0me the wise has spoken and he tells you "to each his own" and he should of just stopped it there but in the same sentence says you need to listen to me because I can never ever be wrong about anything.

I'm not sure what terrible lessons he thinks I might learn exactly if I go through this process with smarts and research. It's like he thinks there are no other 1st world countries out there that can give you a place to live a 1st world life. Just the USA. That's it.

America is great. I love America in many many ways. It gave my father an opportunity coming from a small island to make a life and raise me here. But it's not the only bull at the rodeo of life that's for sure. And considering Germany is at the top of my list, we are talking about the 4th largest economy of a highly advanced and educated society. I mean I step off the plane in Cologne and I am already more advanced in two major areas - public trans and healthcare. Whatever the case may be, I think some folks look at leaving the US as going to live in a Death To America Commune or some shit. And I'm not even selling my condo when I move, just going to rent it out, so I have somewhere to live, when I come back lol

A nephew moved to France a couple years ago bought an old house in the county and has been fixing it up. He loves it mostly because of the culture all around france.
