Anyone know what this rash is?

I've had it since I was about 5, so I don't really care, I'm just bored enough to actually start researching it now. 😛

Basically it extends over both upper arms, my chest down to the nipples, down my back about 6", and during the winter it seems to barely extend down to my elbows/beginning of my forearm.

On that note, it's semi-seasonable. Increases in density/spread in the fall/winter, decreases in the spring.

No real symptoms per-se. The red spots are actually small bumps. Not oily like zits or anything, although I'll get a small infection in one every now and then (once a month or so, slight puss buildup, never anything serious). No itch whatsoever.

Any ideas?

Edit: Googling just turned up Miliaria. Looks similar, but it's caused by an obstruction of the sweat ducts. Given that my chest gets sweaty as hell when I work out, I don't think that's it. 😛

off the top of my head it looks and sounds like chicken skin/keratosis pilaris. Oh and I dont think there is any real cure just some treatments and suggestions like topical ointments and skin maintenance (cleaning and exfoliating).

Guess I will add that you should speak to your doctor about it if it, especially if it becomes severe or infected. He may give you a topical antibiotic or something.
