Anyone know what this countdown on ATI.com is?

Looks like they are counting down their stock price 😉

I don't care for this countdown anymore than the "power of 3" countdown.

Just get your s*** together and release something

How bout liightening up? It's a video card they're making you wait for, not a cure for cancer.
I guess you did not notice the "wink" next to the stock price "joke"

Personally I'm not in the market for a new video card.

On the other hand you could "lighten" up and not get bent out of shape by my post 😛

My computer is Folding so that I don't have to wait for a cure for cancer.

Well Ati is certainly upping the hype this time around. Maybe this Avivo is pretty neat if you have 2 huge apple lcds. Sounds as silly as 2 vid cards actually. These companies need a breakthrough to part the public from their money. I am interested in seeing the midrange and what features make it on to those cards.

[i could have memory loss when the power was temporarily interrupted] 😛

It would be cool if you could change your internal clock to the day and then ATis website would come up with a totally new webpage showing you the specs of the R520 😛!

Well, you could try that the day before the launch, they might have the link functional then.

Anyone know?

countdown to a paper launch, apparently.... 🙁

since your so confident, you should pre=order 50 and if they don't come by the end of the month cancel.

why on earth would i want to waste my time doing that?

i'll likely order one. where i liked the feature set of nvidia better last gen, i like ati's better this gen, dependant of course on other factors such as heat, noise level, availability, and price.

whether i recieve one in a timely fashion however is another matter altogether...
