Anyone know a good way to buy a solid amount of rocksalt cheap?

I doubt I would actually use that much in one year...maybe I should keep careful tabs on my salt usage this year to get a good idea what I will need.

It does seem like a lot...I haven't done exact calculations. I have been mixing it with town sand (which is free if you can make up the slush covered logging trail that leads to the town garage with a couple of buckets).

Yeah I like to use sand as well, in fact I dont use any salt just sand but then again I dont have a steep driveway.

Maybe you are applying salt too liberally or too often if you are really using that much. Expirament a little with less
