I have seen a lot more than usual over the past few weeks. It is kind of weird.

We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. We’ll post an update once the fix has been deployed. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted.
Anyone in Phoenix noticed more chem trails then usual?

I don't really have one, but I see them more and more everyday. Crackpot theories aren't my expertise.

Well, I have heard that it is various chemicals in the air. I have also heard of them "ionizing" the air and changing the weather.
I don't know if any of this is true, but I have seen them more and more and am just a little curious. I work right by Deer Valley Airport, so I assume that is where the planes are coming from.

Nope. Those disappear rather quickly, and dont spread out to form a blanket.

Nope. Chem trail "theories" that purport planes are delivering mind-altering substances or anything like that are even dumber than 9/11 conspiracies.

1) they are called contrails
2) when contrails spread out to form cloud, that's called cirrus (or occasionally cirro cumulus)
3) you're stupid if you think jet engines @ FL410 are spraying down death on you. that's just STUPID.
4) planes are generally fully loaded once the pax and cargo is on board, there's not much room left for mind altering toxins.
5) if planes were flying around to alter weather (plausible) there would be no conspiracy. there are already dozens of weather altering aircraft flying around in north america (to reduce hail). we know about them.

Apparently your ears don't work. Never once in that news segment was there any shred of evidence presented. All NBC did was report what those crackpots were claiming to be occurring.
The news media reports the sensational claims of nutjobs all the time to get ratings. As long as they don't state the claims are factual they haven't technically misinformed anyone. Sleazy journalism as its finest!

1) They already can tinker with the weather to some degree. Look up "cloud seeding."
2) If they wanted to poison the population, going after the water supply or food supply would be a much easier method, and not nearly so visible.
