Gotcha, so Anime is video. Never knew the difference. So what is something like Naruto considered? It was a comic turned TV show. Is it considered both or Manga because that was first?

Typically, the original medium is considered canon in regard to a series. So, for Naruto, stuff from the manga is considered to be the go-to source where the anime may add other content (usually called "filler"). Content/filler can be added for various reasons, but it's usually because the anime caught up to the source material. I mention this, because at times, people may talk about one medium or another. For example, I stopped watching the Naruto anime and just read the manga instead, so I usually just reference the manga.

It's also not uncommon for a series to go from one medium to a bunch of others. For example, I picked up some of the Hataraku Maou-sama! manga the other day, which started as a Light Novel, and also has an anime adaptation. It's not too different from what we see in the US with a popular franchise getting random spin-offs. For example, the video game Five Nights at Freddy's has two books and is getting a movie.

So you have trouble with ten episodes of No Game No Life but can sit through Dragon Ball...

Don't buy Manga in Japan lol. :D
No worries, it's only as a souvenir! Last time I brought them hand crafted chopsticks and other little trinkets. But he's now into some of the Manga and playing Pokémon. So I'm going to just find him some cool stuff as gifts, nothing major :)

I am enjoying Gamers!

Gamers! isn't too bad... and it's interesting to see them use real-world things instead of placeholders or *bleeps* (I'm looking at you Hayate no Gotoku!). It was funny having the two argue over the smallest of things about a game, which I'm sure we've all seen before. :p Although, the animation sometimes leaves something to be desired though. :\

One of my favorite sweet, relaxed shows - Aria the Animation - has a KickStarter from Right Stuf / Nozomi to create an English dub and release a blu-ray version:

Plot TL;DR - it's slice-of-life about young women training to be gondoliers in the new Venice city on a terraformed Mars.

You can now watch the subtitled version on CrunchyRoll, I highly recommend it when you're in the mood for something that isn't violent or grimdark.

Railgun 6.5/10 would have given it an 8/10 but the filler-ish slicey of lifey episodes just kill it for me. I have not completed season 2 yet but I am on episode 14. So far I give season 2, 8/10 because it is more plot focused and more violent :D

I have already seen Index episode 1-9. So after I finish Railgun Season 2 I start on episode 10 in Index? Help me
