Did you stop by accident or did someone tell you to stop at ep 6? Is that the ep when the Main boy (can't remember his name) lost his 2 weeks worth of M*****?

I stopped because I wasn't that interested in Index. Railgun was a more interesting show. Also,...

Touma lost pretty much all of his memories, which you'll see that come up as an issue later on.

Not sure if you've watched it yet, but Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? is pretty much the precursor of NGNL.
Pretty fun watch too!

So, I went and finished this show this morning, and I have to say that No Game No Life is definitely a better show, but it was alright. It seems like they stuffed a lot of content into a small amount of time. Of course, it makes it worse that you still have no idea who Izayoi is and how he's so ungodly powerful compared to everyone. I also think No Game No Life is better partly due to how I always kind of like the "super smart kid who figures everything out" trope. It's kind of why Mahouka was watchable even though it wasn't that great of a show.

Yeah, NGNL is a much better polished than Mondaiji-tachi, but it was still a fun (albeit brief) watch.

Also, what do you mean I'll have to wait until 2018 for the next installment of ReLIFE?! :(

Not sure if it counts, but I finished Guilty Gear Xrd's story mode the other day... It's basically a series of cut scenes but since you don't have to play the game to view the story and can just go to story mode, load it and watch the whole thing right away, I gave it a go and it was pretty decent I felt.

As someone who recently re-watched both Dragon ball and Dragon ball Z in japanese, I believe it's at minimum 6 days.

2 for DB and 4 for DBZ, assuming you somehow managed to stay up that long anyway.

cue up Naruto after you finish all the dragon ball :awe:

then gintama.

I'm finally getting around to watching Watamote again. That was one of the series that I saw an episode or two of when it first came out, but I never kept up with it. Watching it now, I can see why... it's just rather strange, and the strangeness doesn't let off. :p

Also, what do you mean I'll have to wait until 2018 for the next installment of ReLIFE?! :(

I think I only ever saw the first episode of that one. It seemed fine, but nothing really grabbed me. Does it get better?

That sounds like a lot of action-heavy seinen stuff. You ought to consider sprinkling in a bit of relaxing shows like some fun slice-of-life comedies.

i'll have to look that up. my anime history is all action starting with guyver on vhs when i was a little kid, Lot4K, 3x3 eyes and the like. even urotsukidoji when it aired on UK TV (censored of course but aired as it's still a damn good movie),

i haven't even gotten around to watching studio ghibli stuff yet. i relax with lighter eps of shows like dragon ball Z. the driving one and in super where they play baseball is especially good

they seem to be emotionally draining (fireflies) and that's what make me delay it. most stuff doesn't get to me while the story of bedd gelert (welsh story I read as a kid - a town named Beddgelert after it) really did so I ponder for a while.

When AB says raws, they mean _raws_ (like M2TS).
Had to bust out my cold spare Ultrastar He8 just to deal with the amount of raws I'm DLing for future projects
