Thinking about getting this power rack mainly to do pull ups with the Amazon Visa.

Dude it's not free money - you're going to end up on the path to bankruptcy if you're not careful

You indulged yourself on the gaming laptop, and I can kind of forgive using financing on a (relatively) large purchase like that. For anything ~$100, just save up the money and buy it.

You know how you do pullups? You walk your ass outside, and then walk it to a bunch of trees. Look up. Find a nice limb that's kind of horizontal. Jump up and grab it, pull yourself up. Keep doing that til you can't do it anymore, then walk your ass home. Do it again tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that...

It's 100% natural, vegan, libre, and gratis. It required no shipping, and no resources.

Or you do whatever stupid shit you're gonna do, cause all you do is stupid shit. If you came up with a good idea, you'd probably stroke out, and get sucked into some kind of temporal black hole...

I think this pull up rack would help me get my construction job by making me stronger.

The park near me doesn't have a pull up bar and the gym I go to only has a single pull down machine and there is often people waiting for the pull down machine.

Also, the gym doesn't allow cameras and I wanted to record myself doing pull ups.

The general point is "don't buy it on credit", not "don't buy it at all". How many push-ups can you do? Have you considered a kettlebell? Assuming you wait until your next construction class finishes, you're probably over a year from having a construction job, you can wait to buy the pull-up bar. You can wait to record yourself doing pull-ups.

You know what helps you get a construction job? Getting your ass out and applying for jobs. Going to classes and cosplaying as a construction worker doesn't get you into construction any more than sleeping with a C++ book under your pillow makes you a programmer. You need to grow the fuck up, or go see a shrink for whatever your problem is, cause you aren't fit to survive, and you likely won't if this nonsense continues.

You do realize you need to pay back that money right, like, within the next 30 days. Do you have a pay cheque coming in the next few weeks?

I usually use my plasma donation money to pay for things I don't need and my SSI on things I do need.

You need that money to buy games for your laptop. Thus you won't have that money to pay off the pull-up bar.

Muscle strength will not be what gets you the job or not. Plus, you can get the same workout without the bar or any equipment beyond an old towel. https://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/pull-up-alternatives/

Homie is in here trolling old folks.

I say max the card out. Buy whatever strikes your fancy. Before you do though, apply for others. Get as many as you can and max them all out. Your next step is to apply to be on https://www.youtube.com/@CalebHammer

That way I can LMAO at him roasting you. You should exist now, only for my entertainment.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is the main game I want to play that I haven't already bought.

I own a few games I want to play that I couldn't play smoothly on my current GTX 1650 powered laptop, such as Arma 3 and Far Cry 5 and Ready Or Not.

Also, the pull up rack only cost $16 a month for 6 months, no interest.

Oh, hey, you can sell your old laptop when the new one arrives, and use that money to pay for your pull-up rack!

My old roommate was going to buy it from me for $200.

I got it for $800 in year 2021.

Spend your days outside exercising - it will build up your heat tolerance and work all your muscles. Spend your nights doing those math problems you had issues with.

This only costs $0 a month for 6 months, no interest.

So maybe buy the rack to get the rewards points and immediately put the $200 towards your credit card balance, I guess? Get the $200 first though.
See, the problem here is you've already gone from using your plasma selling money to pay for things you don't need to "hey this credit card isn't maxed out yet so I can still keep spending money", and THAT'S HOW YOU GET IN TROUBLE.

Use your new construction skills to build a power rack for weight lifting. 6x6 posts and very large carriage bolts for adjustment points should be plenty strong.

only cost
Those two words are why so many people are poor for the rest of their life. Each time those two words enter your head, you will be tempted to go further and further and further into debt that you cannot repay.

Make a slight tweak. Your checking account *only has* $10 in it (or whatever number fits your situation). Since your checking account only has a small amount, you won't buy it until your 2nd paycheck in construction.

There is one and only one way to become wealthy: spend less than you have.

Those pay as you go no interest things are extremely addicting and easy to abuse, and they know it. I definitely spent way too much money like that because of the psychology of it. In a consumeristic society I mean it's part of how it works.

If you have $100 of fun money a month and you want to dedicate that to $100 a month of interest free repayments, then do it. The problem is you have to be very disciplined and not keep buying things and also not cut down spending in other ways to pay for those monthly payments that made sense at a small number. It's a lot easier said than done, and that's kind of the point of it.

I mean you can even do pay as you go fast food delivery orders now in America. It's getting a little wild.

And also you should definitely be able to get a construction job in the Los Angeles area.

LOL WTF, can you please provide an example?
There are multiple but here's a couple. It's more recent, definitely within the past year, but I remember seeing some articles and then some discussions on Reddit about what end stage capitalism looks like 😂

It's wild out there indeed
