Is everyone else here from the east coast or central? I don't know, but subway in california is really not that bad. Maybe it's because I know the people working there, but I always get enough meat. And what's wrong with vegetables? You can always dump some. I still prefer quizno's though. Wicked expensive. Anyone been to Blimpie?
Quizno's>Blimpie>Subway.
But none of them are bad.

The pastrami sub is a good deal. Lots of meat. Lots of taste. Lots of grease too.

well... back in the day while i was in high school, i used to work at a subway as a "sandwich artist"even back then, i knew what a rip off their sandwiches were... a measely 6 slices of turkey or roast beef on a whole sub. everything else was veggies. only when i made my own sandwiches would i be able to taste any meat in the sub... anyone else who made it for me, it was like eating a veggie sandwich. so after high school, i never ate there ever again since i knew how cheap they were with the meat. for the past two years... ppl always praise subway sandwiches and how good they are and blah blah blah. i'm just like yeah right whatever. so today.... i'm driving home and i am kinda hungry. i passed the wendy's, mcdonald's, burger king, and pizza parlor already. my last choices were either to grab some canned food to nuke from the quickie mart, or subways. i said "what the hay" and decided to give subway a whirl. who knows... maybe they did change from their skimpy ways. WRONG! so anyway, i am still getting a whooping 6 slices of roast beef, and a ton of veggies... :disgust: am i the only one who feels ripped off while eating food from subway?

i like my bread toasted.....subway has fresh baked breads, but not toasted before they put meat and veggie in.....
I use to get sandwiches in QFC deli(a grocery store in seattle, but has deli sections), they are damn good.....they put really good stuff in their sandwiches, e.g. sun-dried tomatos, and then toast the whole sandwich.....mmm.....and they are not expensive at all!![]()

bleah. the one time i've had quiznos, the *hot sub* was cold and tasted horrible (cheese was melted and then cooled down, was horrible).
