I once saw him in an airport. He was far up in front of me, but I knew it was him. "Anand!", I yelled. He slowed down for a second and started to turn. "Anand", I yelled louder, knowing that everyone in the terminal could hear me. He paused for another second, indecisive, and then seemed to make a decision. He turned back the other way and started walking so fast he was almost running. I took off running after him, but my luggage was slowing me down. I saw he was gaining on me and I dropped my luggage and started sprinting after him. He started running too! I saw him duck into a gate area and then board a plane that was headed to Timbuktu. I ran to get on it too when I realized.... I left my tickets in my luggage!!

I watched as the plane picked up speed down the runway with a haunted look in my eye. I boarded a plane to Timbuktu, but by the time I got there, all trace of him was lost. The hotel guy said someone matching his description was asking about spelunking, the museum guy said a tow-headed individual had come by, and the coffee shop guy said he was inquiring about a city that was on the equator. I saw there were only 3 places to fly to from Timbuktu, but I was tired and wanted to go home, so I did. I never saw or heard from Anand again...
You almost had him, flatfoot! :D

Yes! At least one person got my Carmen Sandiego references.

LOL - You should try writing books, the suspense was killing me!:)

I have met him and have his cell number. No, I would not think of posting it. He is a fine young man and would it would be a pleasure working with him.

I've spoken with him a few times. The first time was just before my little adventure with Tom Pabst (Tom's Hardware). I knew what I wanted to post could get some serious reactions, so I e-mailed him to ask permission, and we ended up discussing it on the phone.

The other time was when I wanted to ask him to test my design for a different kind of GFD. He liked it. Wish I'd been faster to market with it.
