I first heard about him and his site from this Indian guy I met at the Raleigh temple. This Indian guy knew him pretty well from Enloe (his AIM SN: was Bzzzzzrrt at the time, don't know what that's all about.) Later at Chapel Hill I ran into a lot of Enloe grads who knew about him or knew of his dad.

I walked right past him at Comdex this year. I did a double take and realized it was him.

"Anand", I yelled louder, knowing that everyone in the terminal could hear me. He paused for another second, indecisive, and then seemed to make a decision. He turned back the other way and started walking so fast he was almost running. I took off running after him, but my luggage was slowing me down. I saw he was gaining on me and I dropped my luggage and started sprinting after him. He started running too! I saw him duck into a gate area and then board a plane that was headed to Timbuktu. I ran to get on it too when I realized.... I left my tickets in my luggage!!

I watched as the plane picked up speed down the runway with a haunted look in my eye. I boarded a plane to Timbuktu, but by the time I got there, all trace of him was lost. The hotel guy said someone matching his description was asking about spelunking, the museum guy said a tow-headed individual had come by, and the coffee shop guy said he was inquiring about a city that was on the equator. I saw there were only 3 places to fly to from Timbuktu, but I was tired and wanted to go home, so I did. I never saw or heard from Anand again...
You almost had him, flatfoot! :D

Many times over the last 9 months, last week in fact (at IDF).

Anand is an awesome guy, I don't think there's a person on this planet that would dislike him.

I first met Anand in '99 and have known him ever since. He was in my public speaking class about a year and half ago as well.

By the slim chance that I ever do meet him, how do you pronounce 'anand' correctly?
