Yes, planned outage
The message was at the top of the page for the last month or so. When was the last time you logged in?
few days ago... I guess the warning wasn't in a flashy red blinking banner or something.
what's with a planned outage at peak internet hours? Their IT dept. doesn't like working off-shift? This better be something that takes 12 hours. Only then is that a valid excuse.
I'm on hold with them right now. I tried to log into the Chase Android app and it said too many login attempts were made and the account is locked so I had to call to have it unlocked.
One would think if they had a planned outage they could put it on chase.com - "Some customers may experience problems logging into chase.com" Then again... this is Chase...

Except I'm the one that wasted the minutes =P
Can always count on ATOT to answer my questions.
I notice they scheduled this maintenance outside of bank hours too... oh well... I'm sure nobody will need to do any banking until tomorrow anyway, right?
Should have called from your land line.![]()
The warning has been there for a while. It was the very first thing on the page. It was a giant yellow box that messed up the usual format and was right in your face. If you log on with any sort of regularity, your first thought would be "WTF?" then you'd read the box that took the place of your usual account info. It was there... I saw it many times. No need to get pissy over something YOU missed and YOU forgot.
Plus there's very little you can't do from their ATMs. If it's that damned important get your ass off the computer and go to the ATM.
What if I don't log on with any sort of regularity? Or what if I log on using the mobile app where no such message box appears? Or what if I'm just a paying customer that expects the product I'm paying for to work when I need to use it or at least give an accurate error message when it doesn't?
Yeah... I'm in the wrong. What's MY problem?
So... did you go to the ATM?
