If so, any of you know what your score was when you applied?

I wanna know if my chances are good.

Yeah, I had a relatively low score (590) when I applied, and was approved for $1500.

Damn, why did I get the piddly $800 BB card? At the time I had a CC with a ~$6,000 limit and a credit score above 634, & they gave me a useless $800 limit.

Credit score isn't everything.

People keep assuming if you have a great credit score, that's all you need, wrong.

What are the different factors that they look at?

I had a 710 score at the time of applying and only got 800 limit. My salary sucked at the time, I think that had some factoring in.

How much credit you have for one.

If you have even slight credit with good payment history and a steady job you'll be more than likely approved.

I was approved for a 10k loan but when I applied for a credit card (non-secured) I was denied lol.

What are the different factors that they look at?

Your available credit to debt ratio, your credit score, your payment history (check to see if you have any missed payments, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc), any delinqencies (SP) on your account, any write offs. It's pretty much as their discretion. They also check how long your credit history is, and your income.

Toe size for one.

I am rather well endowed in that department.

How do they check my income (Unless it's specified in the application) In my credit report, they didn't even have my current job in there and I've been working here for the last 3 years! I got it fixed with Equifax but I wasn't sure if I need to check my credit report with Transunion and experian.

This is all..........very interesting.

I didn't think instant credit systems were "smart" enough to do anything but check credit score.

Hmmm..........14 month employment.......no lates.......around 50% total credit utilization........8 month credit history.......$20K salary (although If I lie, will they know?).................anyone able to provide further estimates of my success?

Well then I'm sorry you're not BB CC worthy :(

Your salary, and how close you were to that 6,000 limit on the other CC were probably factors.
