I wanna know if my chances are good.

Damn, why did I get the piddly $800 BB card? At the time I had a CC with a ~$6,000 limit and a credit score above 634, & they gave me a useless $800 limit.

Credit score isn't everything.
People keep assuming if you have a great credit score, that's all you need, wrong.

What are the different factors that they look at?

Toe size for one.
I am rather well endowed in that department.

Your available credit to debt ratio, your credit score, your payment history (check to see if you have any missed payments, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc), any delinqencies (SP) on your account, any write offs. It's pretty much as their discretion. They also check how long your credit history is, and your income.

Crap I don't think my toe can even measure up to yours.
Your salary, and how close you were to that 6,000 limit on the other CC were probably factors.Originally posted by: Viper GTS
