I have four systems up and running at my house, though only two get any kind of regular use:

AthlonXP 1.4 - My desktop rig; used for games, homework, Divx, everything
Intel P4-M 1.6 - New laptop. Right now just a toy (DVD/Divx/emulators/internet and email), but once school rolls around this fall, programming and other homework as well.

Duron 750 - My old computer, and now my brothers. Homework, games, and email and internet as soon as I get those CAT cables run.

AMD K6-2 400 - My first desktop, bought before my freshman year of college. Now sits in my dad's room, where he swears he's going to learn how to use it, but it hasn't been touched since christmas.

4, all assembled by me, 1 for each member of the family, slowest one is a 800mhz for the youngest kid.

Works out great, I have a place to put my old systems when I upgrade, & give the slowest machine to a friend or relative. Need to give one to my aunt & uncle next, I think they have a Pentium 75mhz with 64 megs of ram & a tiny hard drive.

Main desktop: Compaq SP750 Dual P3Xeon 933, 512 MB RDRAM, 18GB & 36GB U160 SCSI, dual 16x Yamaha CDRWs
Mainly gaming and video editing but of course surfing and such, acts as my VCR with my new ATI AIW 8500 128MB card :)

Main server: P4-1.6A, 768MB SDRAM, 18, 20, 30, 40, 75 & 120GB U100ATA drives, 2 - 9GB U2W-SCSI drives, DVD
Sits and stores my MP3s, movies and pictures and stuff so as to be available for all boxes on my network.

Main laptop: P3-500 Toshiba, 256MB, 18GB, CDRW
Use it for surfing from wired rooms in the house, fast enough to play movies from the network to my TV, but not enough balls for any kind of gaming.

Son's desktop: P3-800, 512MB SDRAM, 9GB U2W-SCSI
Don't beat me up too much on this, he's only 5 and plays Blue's Clues and such on this, but I have UT and Quake3 installed for when I want to have my friends over to play on my network. (He basically got my leftover PC when the Xeon box showed up. I didn't actually intentionally buy him a box like that to run Blue's Clues.

Bedroom laptop: P150, 80MB , 12GB
Quick weather checks on the net and playing MP3s from the server, not enough CPU power for much else. It's quiet and convenient.
Backup server: dual PPro200, 192MB EDO-RAM, 9GB UWSCSI
Sits in my basement waiting for the other server to die, Hasn't been on since November though.

Backup laptop: PII-366 256MB, 12GB
Sits @ my Dad's house, in case his desktop dies, he's gotta get @ his email so this is his safety net. Mine too if my laptop dies.

One emachines in my room, another same in my bros room. Mine isnt functional without a hd and somethings wrong with his. They're just 500celerons. Then the one im on now, my moms in a different room which is a pos 233-Intel-Something. Theres 2 old thinkpads right next to me that my parents use for doing work at home and behind me theres an old 486. I think in my parents room there's an old apple or something. One of those REALLY old box things.

Then of course the one thats on its way anyway... :D \/

1. My main rig
2. My sister's main rig
3. My dad's main rig
4. My mom's main rig
5. My mom's laptop
6. My sister's laptop
7. My dad's home laptop
8. My dad's work laptop
9. Windows NT PDC
10. Windows NT BDC
11. Windows 2000 Domain Server
12. Linux Machine
13. Kitchen PC

That doesn't count a fricken ton of spare parts and unused PC's sitting in the attic. This house has far too many computers and I hate it. Don't ask me for specs for all of them as it would be such a pain. If you want to know the 2 best ones, they are in my sig, 0wn3d is my rig and 0wn3dserv is the 2000 domain server.

XP1900/R8500 and XP1700/GTSPro side by side, together by each. Both have 20" viewable monitors.

Cross-over cable, ICS.

UT or SSam2 on one while the other downloads or whatever.

I have my main 1.5GHz P4 system that I do most of my gaming, surfing, and the like on.

Then I have a dual Athlon XP 1600 system that is a server that currently doesn't serve anything. Every morning it does recompute the baseball/football/hockey (depending on season) fantasy stats and regenerates the web site for the league.

I also have a 1.6GHz P4 system that is my LAN machine. It was built to be compact and light so I could haul it off to LAN parties without having to lug the Addtronics 7896 case my main machine is in.

Lastly there is the P3 600 laptop to lug off to the various fantasy sports drafts I have to attend.

Celeron 533@800 - file serving/NAT
P150 laptop - AIM/Yahoo messenger/X-com/Wolfenstein 3-D :D

sleeping in my bedroom...
P-90 - was supposed to be my Linux-learning machine but I couldn't get it to install on my SCSI :|
P150 - old NAT system
K6-3/333 - ended up as a spare after I gave my GF parts from one of my Celeron 533@800 systems

One main unit, gaming & programming
Two Laptops, one is my work unit and the other is my son's (until I build him a new pc)
Two P75, one is the garage for service manuals & such for fixing cars. The other is just sitting around until I get bored and want to play some old DOS games.

I have 3 (and, well, a half) at home:

1-XPRig/Ghetto Box
2-FrankenSever
3-WorkLap (i carry from the office and back).
The Half- various parts and such that I could make another system out of if I tried real hard.

Total details in that link :p

If we really want to start throwing our weight around, I could start talking about my server farm and test area that I have at the office. :D

I have 4 roomates and there's 8 computers in the house. I have 3 (one primary machine, one linux email/ftp server, one laptop) my roomies each have one (except for one of them), and then we have a full-blown mame cabinet (the coolest thing ever) and a video/mp3 server for the living room.
