When I was in college, I couldn't wait until I graduated, because I was tired of studying and doing homework. Not to mention I wanted to make some $$.

Now that I have joined the workforce, I miss college. Life was simpler back then. I have a good job, but I am still studying (for CPA). This is a pessimistic view, but I was thinking, "After college, it's 20~30 years of work."

I miss college. It was a hell of a lot easier. My degree has been utterly useless up to this point also, which hasn't helped.

School sucked. Lots of useless work and information that I had to pay for.
Now I have a good paying job and more free time than I ever had in school.

I would think that internships are better than fulltime positions in terms of meeting people your age. I'm 22 and most of my coworkers are about 30. I'd assume that most interns would be under 24.

20 or 30 years? How old were you when you retired? Of course, unless you're one of those who really believes he's going to retire at 50.

I actually had more free time after graduation (because I was already working full time). But now it feels like there's no direction to my life.

College was fun and all, and I miss the ability to hang out with friends the way I did then. But DAMN am I glad not be a poor college student anymore. I mean, seriously...I could never have afforded the system I just bought (sig) a year ago. Ontop of that, I live in a nice apartment which is a vast contrast to the pigstie like conditions I inhabited during college. I partied a good amount in college (fraternity life for ya) but it's still all there for you in post-grad life, only in a different form. Hell, my GF and I went to 3 live shows/concerts last week and were drinking it up at them all!

So in short, no. I think I enjoy post-grad life a lot more then when I was an undergrad.

EDIT: Life is what you make of it. How's that for profound? :)
