Uni was great. Lots of free time to go out and hang with my mates.

Now I have to arrange time in advance to see my mates that are working! wtf?! We never had to arrange things like this. So many girls in Uni also and a severe lack of girls now that I'm working. I'm going to take up Salsa to meet some girls in a few weeks.

I am saving a fat chunk of £££ now but that doesn't mean sh!t when your not out with your mates as much :(.

Not with my gf anymore so that sucks, and I may never weightlift properly again so that and other factors has p!ssed me off to no end after Uni.

I may go back to Uni to study another degree depending on how things work out by September for me.

I like school much better than when I am on coop. It's that 9-5 scheduale, I cannot stand it.

Same here.

yah, this community of everyone being your age, all accessable. I mean it's like you're basically compatible with an enormous majority of everyone around you. I don't think the obvious fact; that this is the last time in your life it'll be like this; dawns on most people until after, if it ever even does when they try to figure out why things are harder after college. I know it didn't dawn on me entirely.

Grad school seems awesome, becuase you can earn money, but still have that college atmosphere

edit: I'm all about social life, I've never cared about money nearly as much as I cared about girls, friends, and having a good time with both. I don't mean I have no goals or priorities, I do, but I get satisfaction out of being with groups of people that I share things in common with. And college had that, the real-world....not so much, because I'm not surrounded by peers anymore.

Let's see, after I graduated from GA Tech in December 2002, I took a one-year vacation more or less:

December 2002: Graduated GA Tech
May 2003: Did some free-lance work for the GA Tech College of Modern Languages.
July-September 2003: Spent nearly three months on the Greek island, Naxos. Best summer of my life!
October-November 2003: Was a substitute Math and Computer Science teach for 5th and 6th graders at a local private school.
December 2003: Hired by current employer.

Luckily, I found a unique job that I enjoy. So, no. Post-college life doesn't suck. But I do miss those all-night LAN parties with my friends, playing Counter-Strike at the College of Computing. Your college years are a special time, no doubt. But it's also nice having an income, being a productive member of society, completely independent, etc.

Touche. I had a blast in college, and did well. I love having a decent paycheck, but I'm dying to go back to school. Looking forward to starting that Masters.

I COULDN'T WAIT to move get out of college. Yeah i partied and all, but I was sick of being poor and doing all this work for no return. It hit me about junior year when i realized college is a waste of time.

Now that i've graduated i've started my own business and work is fun. I still make time to hit up the bars and have fun with the ladies, but this time around i actually have money ;) The goal is to be able to retired by 30, but thats not to say i won't continue scheming up ways to make money.

If you hate life after college... well i think you're living your life the wrong way.

I have a few friends who want to retire by 30. What do you want to do after 30?
