Started mid October. Not stopping till the beard either looks like hell or the feel bothers me.

My beard comes in half gray and half brown (kinda patchy) and my beard is wiry. Getting to the point of looks like shit doesn't usually take long.

Had a beard once, that was enough for me. My wife hates facial hair as well so I guess I'll just keep shaving.

I told my friends, you better grow a fucking beard, or else. I'm not gonna be the only one here looking like a terrorist.

beardless beta male checking in

32 years old too

being a caucasian and not having much facial hair is really a struggle these days with everybody (especially women) just sort of expecting you to have one or the ability to grow one

I just keep a goatee and stache (soul patch included free of charge) year round, and try to keep the neckbeard under some sort of control. Never completely shave the rest as a general rule, just trim down to a very short stubble.

Facial hair coloring currently reveals that I'm part Irish and part old. :p

I have carried a short goatee for a couple decades, but this year I decided to grow it all the way out. Got a few inches going so far. Going to grow it until death unless I get/decide to accept a better paying kick ass job I love that requires me to cut it off. I'll whip out my straight razor and shave that bitch on the table right in front of them. Hope I'm careful.

I've done the Movember moustache a few times. Don't really like the feeling of fascial hair and not something I'd do on a permanent basis, but was curious to try it. It grows fast, except it does not grow in the "slot" under the nose. So basically, I had a reverse hitler moustache. Looked kinda creepy.

I was toying with the idea of trying a goatie this year then totally forgot and just kept shaving. I could start now, but not the same. A red goatie would look kinda cool though I think.

Fux. Was trimming down my beard just to even out the new growth. Got a phone call mid cut. Ended up getting into a crazy argument over the phone over something silly. Dropped my clipper on the counter and the guard/comb fell off. Was so upset after I hung up, I hastily grabbed the clippers to finish the trim... A couple of passes later, I realized I had no guard/comb on the clippers. Fux.. My beautiful beard gone. Fux.

Wifey doesn't like beards. So I don't get the luxury of no-shave November. Oh wells, I've gotten used to daily shaving. In my line of work now it's much more of a "clean and cut" environment than my previous job. Hell, I feel bad even when I'm a week late getting my normal hair cut at the barber.

I generally let it go a little more in the winter, but I still trim it down like once a month back to my standard designer stubble.

I never fully shave because shaving sucks. My face exists on a floating continuum between stubble and wool. Also, it is necessary to maintain my dark mysteriousness.

Men that need a month out of the year to allow themselves to be men are merely pretend men.
Great minds think alike. Same here son!

No, for practical reasons. Dealing with a rash that can get violently itchy and gets harder to treat under long(er) hair, especially this time of year. At its worst I even scratched off some follicles at the bottom of my neckline.
