Well it's November and that means it's time to grow your beard. My beard is getting nice and thick. It's nice to not worry about shaving my face for once.

BTW, what's up with 20 somethings and beards. Seems like every young guy I see has a beard.

I started in September, and will probably shave it(aside from the goatee) in May.

I stop shaving by the first of Septembeard...then don't shave through Octobeard, Novembeard, Decembeard, Januhairy and Februhairy...USUALLY I shave when "March you ever gonna shave that shit off your face?" rolls around.

The only time I ever shave more than twice a week is when I have to attend a meeting, or something like a funeral or a wedding. But I can't stand having a beard. After about six or seven days I want to rip my face off.

Nope. I don't like going more than 2 days without shaving the neckline-ish area, and generally keep to a ~5 day length max overall.

Do you have any gray hairs in your beard? If so, do you color the grey hairs or do just let them stay?

That's funny, because I know a couple of guys who wore beards or goatees their entire adult life and only began going clean shaven when their beards started going gray.

I have a few in there. I leave them be. Not that self-conscious about it. I also have a gray spot in my hair that I've had since I was about 15. In my 30s now. I just don't let that stuff bother me.

I thought it was Manuary and then Februhairy? :colbert:

Haven't shaved since 12/9/1969 when I got discharged from the service but I do grow it longer in the winter.

Just remember that if you do this your SO will get revenge by growing a beard of her own but not on her face. ;)

Wife prefers me with a beard. It's a win-win situation!

It's funny you say that because so does mine. I started growing a beard about 4 years ago. At one point during that time I shaved it off because well just because I guess.
Welp turns out I look rather handsome with a beard because she said grow it back. It is a win-win haha.

Whenever it's not a beard, it's a goatee.

I have a beard year round, because I am a man. :colbert:

And because I'm not asian. Asians can be men too, even if they don't have beards, I guess.

I never fully shave because shaving sucks. My face exists on a floating continuum between stubble and wool. Also, it is necessary to maintain my dark mysteriousness.

Men that need a month out of the year to allow themselves to be men are merely pretend men.

I can't really grow one. Even after a month my beard looks like a teenager that just started growing facial hair.

I never cleanly shave for a few reasons...

1) I don't use a razor and cream, I opt for a quick buzz with the electric razor which leaves me with a bit of a shadow still.

2) I feel like I'm 10 years old again.
