Nope. I like to drive my cars. I don't like driving loaners 😀No, not excited.
Chances are it will not be stick shift and it will be well over $35k
no thanks

Nice parent. I got a 10 year old Accord. But it was a great car (5-speed) and I loved it.
Is that the same as the '07 Passat? I know a guy who lemon-lawed his for oil burning issues. I complain about our WRX eating a quart between changes but 8 quarts a year is ridiculous.this car is based on a tuned EA888. google "EA888 oil burning" . its notorious for that and VW will just dick everyone around with it being "normal" to burn like 8 quarts a year.
Too close to Audi territory. Esp. the new A3/S3.

Problem with VW, the Golf especially, is they've always been over priced for what they are. When you consider that the Focus ST, Fiesta ST, Civic Si, and the Subaru BRZ are all cheaper with similar specs, the GTI line is not as competitive as it once was. I'm more interested in the GTD as they've finally made a sporty diesel hot hatch for the North American market.
