Anyone excited for OnePlus?

Music is good. I almost die every morning from my alarm. Blows the N4, N5 away by far.

With that said the speakerphone volume for VOICE calls is a whole different story. Too soft. Its an active issue on Jira and they're working on it.

Yea voice call is very soft. I can confirm this.

Why would you want pure AOSP over CM11S? CM11 is practically AOSP but gives you a few extra tweaks.
I'd be afraid that I'd lose stuff like the special camera software and the ability to toggle between using the capacitive buttons and on-screen software buttons. I'm sure there's other stuff too.

I was thinking about getting the Xperia z2 until I found this post.

You have me second guessing my judgement now, if the hype doesn't die off I may end up having to stick with the z2... Overall it looks quite nifty and something that would be good to add to my arsenal.

Mine shipped the next afternoon after ordering. It's coming from California to New Brunswick Canada, coast to coast. Its going to be here Tuesday. It shipped Friday. Not bad.

Going to call tomorrow to get the damage for duty/import taxes.

Got the 64GB Black Model coming.

I was also thinking if I find an invite I may as well buy the 64gb model. My htc one right now is 32gb and it doesn't feel like a lot when you have backups, multiple roms, various files, and apps on there. I remember my 16gb droid DNA was getting pretty full at one time.

But I suppose there are only the aosp and CM roms available for the one plus so its not like you can hold different ones on there to take up space.

Nice. My 64GB OPO arrives today per USPS tracking info. 😎

Besides getting invites from others are there other ways to get them? I've heard of Facebook or Twitter stuff but I guess it's mostly luck.

Your best bet is a fellow forumite. This is how I managed to buy mine.

Yea I understand. From what I read I know those who buy one receive close to five invites but they are not told when they will be sent out.

If I buy one it will be kept as a backup phone and as soon as I find the best place to move from Verizon I'll use it. I may actually use it as a development phone too since its stock android source.

I wish I'd thought to check this forum this weekend. I got an invite on Saturday, had to claim it by 8AM Sunday or lose it, so I claimed it. They didn't say where, but I'm pretty sure I got it from that recent raffle for 5000 invites.

Still not sure if I want to buy it - I've had no problems with my Moto X and I'm not sure I want a phone where the screen alone is as big as the entire body of an X.

It would be nice to have hardware buttons back, though.

I thought when you claimed the invite you had 24 hours to buy the phone. It does look pretty big but I haven't seen one in person to see how it fits. Seeing it in videos it looks just big not as big as people are saying. I've had a 5 inch phone before.

This is the best we can do since it's not in stores:

That is a decent comparison. It doesn't look as big as the note three. Honestly after my droid DNA it was tough going to the htc one where the screen is smaller. But I got used to it fairly shortly. Only thing that looks odd are the UI graphics for the icons and such, but I bet I could edit my own once I pull the source off the phone.
