Not askin if it would work or not... but GOD DAMN my ex looked hot as hell last night... started remindin me of old times... still have some feelings too. We drove around for a while, got some food, played some pool.

And, we're headin off to the same college as old freshmen (turning 20 in october). Of course.. might have some good luck with the field there too... words came up of gettin together last nite too..
 
I've thought about it before, but never. It's not a good idea unless an external factor broke up the relationship. Then it would be ok.
 
Ya, did it a couple of times but it never works. Just go into it with your eyes open knowing won't work but reap the "benefits".
 
Yes and I married her😀. But my friend did (saw her in a club she was looking good) and then broke up with her again he said that she didn't change one bit they lasted about three weeks.
 
Usually the reason you broke up comes back with a vengance & pretty quickly...

I kept letting ex wife come back, 3rd time she left, I wrote her off, too damn expensive...
 
There was no HUGE reason that we broke up.. i just wasnt feelin it long term with her.. there were a few small things, but even those seem to be gone now.

And.. man she looked good..
 
Pros: Ex-Sex can be great

Cons: You are still the same people and it won't last

For some hot temporary action, nothing beats it...
 
Yep, did it a few times with the same gurl... Broke up with her once, then went to visit her because we were 'still friends', we went to the beach, she was in a bikini, I got horny, so we got back together...

of course, I didnt stay with her.

I had a girlfriend for 3 years - we broke up since she needed space. Six months later we got back together. Dated 2 more years, been married for 3 years last week. Now she wants space again and she is considering separating. I'm devistated and depressed. Don't let this happen to you - bad idea. No matter how hot she is, don't do it or you will be hurt and look like an idiot for going back.
 
I've done it and the relationship lasted another year before we broke up for good. Would've lasted longer, but we wanted different things out of life.
 
btw, i wouldnt get back together just cuz shes "hot" .. it just helps the chances 😛 i really have fun hangin out with her too.. and she can actually put up with me
 
If you have both changed, and worked through the previous issues then yes I believe it's possible.

I have numerous friends who have broken up with their SO's for good periods of times (9 months or so); and I myself have done it as well.

The key is to make sure and discuss what went wrong before, and to not let it happen again.

Damn...sorry to hear. In my case i was the one that broke it off with her after the first 3 years cuz I let my peepee do the thinkin' for me 🙂. After 8 months I realized the mistake I made and our 3rd wedding anniversary is the end of August.

There was too much of an age differance.

And she used to give me grief about what I ate.

yeah I've done it,ended up divorced anyway but did get my son out of the reconciliation,a good thing 🙂 nasty divorce though 🙁
