I seriously feel like crap today. Had one beer with dinner last night and went to bed. Woke up this morning with a hangover like I've been partying all night. Did I get food poisoning or something? I did go to bed hungry though. One bowl of noodles didn't fill me up

You are the lightweight of all lightweights if a total of one beer gave you a hangover. More likely food poisoning or having just noodles for dinner.

I know. I was dead tired after just flying for 16hrs. Was planning on going out tonight but not sure about it

I think I realized for me having any alcohol on an empty stomach has pretty brutal results

Hangover after one drink? Nope...but ONE shot of vodka (doesn't matter what kind nor how it's served...straight or mixed) will give me a severe headache.

I've never had a hang over. In fact when I drink a little too much (where I start to feel a bit tipsy but not drunk) I feel like a million bucks the next day. I sleep like a baby and wakeup full of energy. Normally I'm super tired when I wake up no matter how many hours I sleep.

I know my limit though, I don't get drunk. Once I start to feel tipsy I slow down or stop.

Not after one. The least I've had to experience a hangover was four beers, but that was during a metal concert where I had been singing along for a couple of hours, then followed by In-N-Out only drinking maybe half of a complimentary water before bed.

Getting "hungover" for two full days (the worst I've ever felt by far, couldn't get out of bed for some of that time) was the final straw in convincing me to try going gluten free. Turns out that was the problem and I don't react well with gluten at all.

ok... it was one beer with dinner, and then shochu on the rocks afterwards. but still, nothing to write home about.

I just ate breakfast, went for a walk and think it's starting to go away. i felt like i was going to barf the entire time eating breakfast, but now i'm feeling good. i really think it was me not getting enough to eat last night and probably being dehydrated. never realized how bad drinking on an empty stomach can be

I don't think it's the gluten that is a problem, it's all the alcohol that happened to be along side the gluten.

Just had 2 Coors and I feel a little tipsy!

I used to put down 18 Mich Ultras a day, everyday...got a baby coming so keeping it to 18 a week for now and whatever drinks I have out and about.

When I was younger I drank much heavier stuff and without a real job and stuff much more.

Drink water after every alcoholic drink and a big glass of water right before bed.

Never! I can't even get drunk. I drank a whole bottle of Jack on the 4th of July and I just puked! No hangover though.

I've quite the tolerance for alcohol. One beer caused two days worth of migraines, brain fog and was debilitating to a degree I considered going to the hospital. I'd long gotten hangovers from beer that in my opinion were far worse than they should have been, but I just chalked that up to a side effect of getting older.

Everyone is all of a sudden allergic to Gluten now.

I'm against the fad as much as anyone, but the results of changing my diet cannot be overstated. No more brain fog, ability to sleep through the night (first time in probably 15+ years), easier weight loss, better at my job with more focus, severe digestive issues that all but disappeared... and more. I know within :30 seconds if I've accidentally had gluten. Pressure in the temples, migraine starts, creeps towards the front and keeping my vision focused starts to become difficult.

:D

So I stand by my original point: an outsized hangover-like reaction to a small amount of beer could potentially be a sign of something other than a hangover.
