I used to put down 18 Mich Ultras a day, everyday...got a baby coming so keeping it to 18 a week for now and whatever drinks I have out and about.

When I was younger I drank much heavier stuff and without a real job and stuff much more.

So, bragging about being an alcoholic is cool now?

I had one after 2 drinks when we arrived in aspen. Immediately went to the bar at 5 pm. Felt sick for the rest of the night. I attribute it to the high altitude lol

I couldn't believe i felt sick after 2 drinks. But i did have a drink on the plane too

I seriously feel like crap today. Had one beer with dinner last night and went to bed. Woke up this morning with a hangover like I've been partying all night. Did I get food poisoning or something? I did go to bed hungry though. One bowl of noodles didn't fill me up

Have you had your blood sugar level checked lately?

I've quite the tolerance for alcohol. One beer caused two days worth of migraines, brain fog and was debilitating to a degree I considered going to the hospital. I'd long gotten hangovers from beer that in my opinion were far worse than they should have been, but I just chalked that up to a side effect of getting older.

I'm against the fad as much as anyone, but the results of changing my diet cannot be overstated. No more brain fog, ability to sleep through the night (first time in probably 15+ years), easier weight loss, better at my job with more focus, severe digestive issues that all but disappeared... and more. I know within :30 seconds if I've accidentally had gluten. Pressure in the temples, migraine starts, creeps towards the front and keeping my vision focused starts to become difficult.

:D

So I stand by my original point: an outsized hangover-like reaction to a small amount of beer could potentially be a sign of something other than a hangover.

Have you actually gotten diagnosed with a gluten allergy, because this sounds EXACTLY like people who claimed that they have a gluten allergy, and BAM double blind study, absolutely no symptoms.

I can nearly get a hangover without drinking. I require serious levels of hydration to not feel shitty when I wake up.

I was dehydrated hungry and sleepy/jet lagged. Not a good combo. Going to a micro brew bar in Kyoto today. Hopefully I can function tomorrow
