Anyway, I don't know how to explain it, but I don't see Canadians as foreign.

I basically think they are Americans.

Please they are as American as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

California is more foreign to me than Canada. I have been to Canada a bunch of times and can find my way around there. If I had to find my way to California, I would drive west until I hit smog.

I see Canadians as Americans and Americans as Canadians. :)

Ever since we drove the nazis out of Canada when they invaded in operation desert storm, we have been like good buddies.

Are you trying to eliminate all doubt that you're a nutjob? Because I think you've done it plenty thus far.

Sorry about burning down your white house, btw.

We might join the USA if you'd mind to get rid of your nutty two party system and lobbyist as well as leave our current laws and health care system alone (we are working on a two tire system of public and private). It is mostly this that sends shivers up the spines of Canadians when thinking about joining the USA.

I highly doubt there will be anymore of a influx of Americans then there is now if we joined you, too damn cold. So no worry about losing our identity, though there is no way in hell Quebec would join, but no one would really care if everyone else joined the USA, only would create problems for Newfoundland & Labrador (a Provence), but I could live with that (I live in NL btw).

The cultural links between the anglo-saxon world (UK, Canada, US, Australia, NZ) are too strong for there to be much difference.

We have police cars now, last I heard. But we can't afford the gas, so horses pull the car.

:p

Think our military got a gun upgrade too. Plastic handled sling shots. The wood ones kept breaking.
Police chase on 401

that's one serious PIT maneuver.

Canadians are so strange, they like hockey.

And WTF is that hurling crap?

You mean throwing up? Americans do that, I've seen it, I mean look at your supermodels, they are the poster women for hurling.

Nothing wrong with hockey either.

Ehh .... the English speaking parts of Canada may be very similar to parts of the USA, but the French speaking parts are as foreign as Miama, Cuba!

Not as foreign as you think if you understand both languages. And Canada is not like the USA; we might sound like you, but we're not you.

Psst ... Miami is actually part of Florida which is the USA, not Cuba ;)

Obviously you've never been to Miami.

Just because Miama's population is 103% Cuban people does not mean it's inside the border of Cuba.

I mean, look at Quebec, it's mostly Frenchies, but they are still technically Canadians.
