they can help you.
loser.
My wife has zero holiday spirit this year...which is very surprising...she's been "Mrs. Christmas" every year for the previous 35 Christmases we've spent together...I'm always a "Scrooge" about the holidays...but secretly love all of what she does. (and I bitch like crazy when she puts me to work...but smile the whole time...and she knows I'm just putting on an act.)
This has been a weird year for us...money situation hasn't been what we're accustomed to, family strife, (damned kids...can't live with them, can't shoot them) and it never really seems like Christmas here...no snow.
Hell, it was like pulling hen's teeth trying to get her to put up the Christmas tree this year. Normally, she's clamoring for it by the time Thanksgiving dinner is done...this year, "Oh, I don't know if I even want to put it up this year."
Ah well...Maybe next year will be better. <shrug>
Really sorry to hear this, Boomer. You're a good man. Go yell at some illegals to re-cross the Rio Grande, it's what Republican Jesus would do.![]()
