I don't understand the big deal. I think the NFL is a waste of time. It's a couple of hours of wasted time with a couple of decent plays that can be later viewed on Sportscenter. People are analyzing it and making predictions...wow.

Who's left in the playoffs anyways? :D

WTF? What do you not understand?

Oh, I see, you don't understand the "x"s and "o"s of football, so you hate it.

I'm not competitive. I think that competition breeds resentment and insincerity.
I've never like sports.

It's also the only way progress is made.

Um, did I say it was the highlight of my year?

Nope, not you. I said "I don't understand the big deal". You responded with "WTF don't you understand". Which I in turn responded with, "Why is the Super Bowl considered the highlight of so many people's years?".

Get it? :p

It's not. But it is a great day usually. Two of the best teams in the leauge playing one of the best sports in the world. Also a great excuse to eat a lot of junk food, drink a lot of beer, and hang out with close friends.

Castrate yourself first, because you probably don't even know what pr0n is.

Then hand in your man card.

Finally, die.

And to the OP, like someone else said it's probably because you don't understand the Xs and Os. There are a lot of people at my school who claim they "hate" baseball and it "sucks" but they've never played it in their life, or if they did it was t-ball and they sucked. They don't realize how much of a mental game it is. I have a feeling you suffer from the same thing.

We need an option: "I'm obviously gay and would rather watch lifetime instead"...

Hell yeah, I'm watching superbowl. You gotta live under the rock not to watch it.

I don't see how a bunch of carefully positioned men bending over every couple of minutes is entertaining.

However I don't give a rat's ass how other people waste their time

Not necessarily.

Certainly I recognize the importance of competition. However, I don't think it's necessary for its sake alone.

I understand the game, I don't find it entertaining. Looks like I'm not the only one either :).

I'd much rather watch a baseball/basketball game anyday. *College football not withstanding, that's entertaining*

You'd rather watch BASEBALL than football? Heck I love baseball, but I just cannot sit down for 3 hours and watch an entire baseball game.

I think it is kind of acquired. My dad didn't like it and so it was hard for me to watch it but lately whenever I wanted I'd watch it. I dunno, there's just something about sports that I love.
